I just wanted to point out the one thing I remember from the original release. Instead of saying "How many throws? ... 1,000 throws!" for some reason the subtitles for Jolyne's super said, "How deep can I go? ... Balls deep!" I can only assume whoever was responsible for that one has a certain kind of browser history. Decent pun, though! Oh, also, Joseph sometimes said something like, "You're tearing me apart, Lisa Lisa!" after fighting her. That one even caught me off guard.

This game is so good. It deserved infinitely better netcode.

My brother and I have been playing this a little bit, definitely want to get more into it. I'm a huge Jojo fan, and the PS3 version of All-Star Battle was actually my first introduction aside from whatever memes or whatever from years earlier. I'm really happy the game was released on steam, even if no rollback. But it works well enough for my brother and I to play together from AZ to IL, so I'm good.

I would love to see you play more, especially when DLC come out

I love playing this game with my son, and I typically use the mounted characters. When I win, I point at the screen and whatever score I got (C, B, A, S, or whatever) I point and I go "Thats a grade A asswhoopin! A; FOR HORSE!!" Then we both laugh like idiots and he selects Diavolo and kicks my ass

Jojo stuff is always good, even when it's bad. And this game isn't bad, in fact it's probably the best Jojo game out there.

I remember researching Jolyne on the original game (before the release of R), because I wanted to main Jotaro and Jolyne, and wasn't sure how different those two would been. I definitely enjoy playing Jolyne, due to her movement options.

Yo, I just got my preorder in from gamestop. Like not that I picked it up, it just got delivered and I’m PISSED that I had to wait this long for a really great fighting game!

Years back I unlocked like... absolutely everything for this game on the PS3. It's literally the only fighting game that I effectively know how to play. I've kind of fallen out of the JoJo fandom, partially because I don't like Part 8, but every time I see something about the anime I think about watching it again. The stories can be a bit shaky, but the characters and animation are QUALITY.

I love ASBR (and ASB), I managed to unlock all of the trophies in the original, and all the achievements in ASBR! And speaking from experience regarding online on console (I'm on Xbox One), it's not great...it works, but it requires so much patience, even when on the road to 100 matches, win or lose, though ranking up is needed to bag an achievement. There are Online Missions that change weekly that will reward you with colors & outfits for certain characters should you complete these 5 missions. It's okay if you miss out too as you'll be able to buy that specific color/outfit in the shop once the campaign the item was locked behind ends. Regarding the other achievements, All-Star Battle mode must be completed, and all secret missions fulfilled; at least complete Challenge Battle once, I personally managed to complete it with all 51 characters, giving them all S ranks. I did that on the One star difficulty because I'm personally not the greatest at games like this, however completing Challenge Battle with the whole roster will net you a substantial Gold Bonus! Though if you want to strive for S ranks across the overall 55 character roster (including DLC), on all 5 difficulties, it'll take at least 275 playthroughs of that mode, though you don't have to do them all, one is enough for the achievement! Endless Battle is just that, at least 10 wins are needed to bag an achievement. By the way, if you see the stripy ball things (Harvest Time) next to Arcade Mode, the gold you earn during a single Challenge or Endless Battle run will double, so take advantage when you can. Versus has Single Battles, Team Battles, and Tournaments. Completing Tournament on all 5 difficulties will bag another one, completing a VS match will add another. Every Single match won against the CPU will net you 500 G at most depending on the rank you get, every Team Battle you win against the CPU will award you 1000 G. Gallery & Shop, yeah you'll need to buy at least 500 items to bag two more achievements. I have brought everything during my time with the game, unlocking all the content hidden behind All-Star Battle mode too. The all arena gimmicks one requires you to be knocked into them by your opponent, and you must get hit with them without the opponent getting caught in the crossfire. Dramatic/Situation Finishes are possible on all stages with all characters against all characters except on DIO on the Bridge, on Koichi at Cape Boingy-Boing, on Prosciutto at the Train Station, and on White Snake Pucchi at the Prison. Hit a HHA or GHA as the finisher in specific directions on every stage, and you'll get an achievement. Final ones are landing an HHA, HHA via Easy Beat, GHA, Assist, Zoomed in Taunt, Stylish Evade, activating Rush Mode, and Flash Cancel. Several of these can be done with a second controller too. In the original, all of Story Mode had to be done, causing a Guard Crush, winning with a HHA or GHA, using Jotaro's timestop during DIO's GHA, landing Johnny's GHA on Valentine, landing Josuke 4's homing missile HHA on Kosaku, and completed Giorno's, Kars's & New Moon Pucchi's GHAs respectively. All these trophies I just brought up don't return in ASBR, the Story Mode ones in particular since All-Star Battle mode replaced it. Dunno why I decided to turn this comment into a mini-guide, but there you go. If you do return to ASBR Matt, I hope this'll help you a bit if you're in the mood to unlock all the achievements. You're welcome...and I enjoyed the video too.

The ultimate JoJo fanservice game, where it lacks in tournament worthy fighting game it makes up for with being a love letter to JoJo from the poses to the callbacks. The rollback netcode is all it needs to be accepted by the FGC.
