This is such a great review! I also double-checked the efficiency with my regular floss and found that I needed to massage a little more thoroughly around my crowns to avoid leaving anything behind. After I changed my technique a little, nothing remained! I will tell you my KIDS especially love it, and I'm so happy I'm not throwing away two plastic floss picks every single day! My teeth are really sensitive and a water pick is NOT an option for me so this is seriously the best, easiest, fastest option. So happy with mine!

I was skeptical at first but the gum stimulation has changed my gum health. I used to have 6/7 pockets and was on the verge of periodontal disease, and the Slate Flosser made my pockets go down to a 3/4 in 6 months! Also I just rinse my Flosser in between each use, it makes me feel better.

What a great review! Where do you get the black floss from, I thought you were going to do a disclosing tablet. Do you think this device gets around the curve of the tooth, not just in the interdental area?

The black floss is from Burst. I don’t like their electric toothbrushes but the black floss is handy!

The disclosing tablet wouldn’t really show results in between the teeth well. I think because the device includes little rubber triangular tips at both ends of the floss, it helps get around the curve of the tooth. Plus I kind of rock the flosser to get the curve of the tooth for each side.

Great suggestion! I’ll add to my list. Immediately I will say water flossing is generally not a replacement for flossing with some sort of string because it does not disrupt the biofilm with the water pressure as it does with manually wiping down the sides of the teeth. I’ll explain more thoroughly in a video :)

@@askahygienist Thanks for the reply re: water picks. Last year my wife bought one and we returned in after a few days. I thought it was a cheap model, but every you just said makes total sense.
