I think the hardest part for most people who do this is not spending the money they make. Business money should be just that, money for your business.

Good basic info, but it is important for a serious seller to form a legal entity such as an LLC or S Corp for tax, banking, and deductions. Also, each State and US terrortory have different taxes and deductions. Never mix personal money and business funds and try to sell products that won't get you sued.

Great information, thanks. I'm just starting out and curious if you use a POBox, UPS Store MailBox or your personal home address as the business address and return address on mailing labels. Also I posted this comment earlier but don't see it showing so sorry if this is a duplicate from me. Thanks.

No worries, looks like your first one didn't go through. Hate when that happens, sorry. Now, to answer your question, I just use my home address right now and have for the last 5 years. I haven't had one return or mail bomb in that time, so I think it's worked so far. Hahaha Down the road I hope to get a commercial spot and mailbox though. :)
