Dude! I appreciate the shoutout! I have a robomower and its tilt sensor activates easily. If the mower would go straight up and down the hill, it would be fine. However, because it has a random mow pattern, it tries to mow the hill sideways and that stops it. It tries to find a level area and if it doesn’t find one in 15 seconds it turns off. The Luba seems like it would have ZERO issues! I really appreciate the test.

Just got mine last night hoping it works well with all my slopes and 6 different zones. I bought the eco flo blade & am returning it without even trying it because it struggles to even go up and down slopes while trying to do the mapping.

The performance is FANTASTIC! I have a Worx Landroid L and I know my lawn isn't golf course level, but I do get neighbors giving my comments on my lawn. It's pretty decent. So it annoys the heck out of me when it throws a "mower lifted" error, I come out and see it on a flat section of lawn. I mean FLAT. I'll buy the Luba. If it can go 3-4 hours without me having to intervene and save it, I'll be satisfied with that. If it can go a few days without me having to mess with it? I'll be ecstatic!

So far, it has only gotten stuck 2 times for me. Once it got stuck after jumping the curb (I had the boundary right over the curb, which you aren’t supposed to do). Another time it got stuck running over the legs of a hammock.

I have a Luba on order. Actually, I'm nuts buying a big 4WD machine for my very small lawn, but my existing Worx Landroid drove me to it! The Worx struggles to cope with slightly long grass, and it regularly gets stuck in corners and small depressions that it really should cope with. Somehow, the perimeter wire gets disturbed (I have no idea how), and I have to get on my hands and knees to locate & fix the problem. Pahh! Even if the machine could cope with undulations & corners and the perimeter wire was as secure as Fort Knox, the Landroid's stupid random mowing pattern would still drive me mad. Hurry up Luba, I need you!

All of the autonomous mowers require the owner to mow the grass down to 2-3" prior to the first mow. They're meant to maintain the yard with nearly daily sessions, not brush hog it. If you're keeping the unit, it would be better to cut the grass prior and then see how well it keeps it maintained in the rough terrain.

It would have been interesting to see Luba mow the grass multiple times (2-3) to see what the results would be then. I have one question: I have tried to find a place that sells Luba in Finland without any luck. Do you have any tips on where to order for delivery to Finland?

How do you navigate outside your fenced in area? I have a fenced area as well but want to be notified when I need to open the gate.

I want one of these SO bad, but unfortunately that price tag just puts it WAY out of reach for the average home owner like me. Even if I hired a crew to cut my lawn, It would take me well beyond the warranty period to recover the money spent. 💰 💴 💵 😱

Great info on Luba! Can the navigation handle not going into neighbors yard without any sort of boundary wire being present?

No one needs negative comments. Congrats on not buying one some of us will still be buying one because not all of us have the perfect lifestyle and free time ability to mow.

@@MrVelasquez that's not negative. If you want one get it. I definitely ant knocking anyone getting one. At the end of the day it's your money to spend one whatever you want that you work hard for. I just really enjoy mowing my lawn.

Can it cut at 4 inches?

The max cutting height is 2.8”… the manufacturer recommends cutting grass no taller than 4”. It will cut grass that is 4” tall (down to 2.8”), but clipping are long.
