Sorry for putting you on the spot, I just think that guy who actually works as a photographer will inherently have better insight than a guy who simply advertises camera gear. Looking forward to more videos from you.

Aha I asked you if you had channel recommendations a week ago or so. I was waiting for two or three names but gosh here is a 30+ min answer aha so great ! Thanks for taking the time, I will definitely check out the channels :)

You mentioned some channels I watch and enjoy and some new to me. I have subscribed to David Patton as his channel looks nice and he looks to have a lovely dog who seems to join him which is awesome ☺

Thanks for the video! His content is not very deep but I really like Frederik Bøving's channel, he talks about quirks of older Nikon DSLRs (primarily d700, d4, also Canon 5d classic a bit) and discusses photo theory / philosophy / books

Your videos are amazing, your inside on photography and cameras is very real, after watching your videos on the 6d, I have pulled the trigger on a second hand 6d with the 24-105 L f4 and I totally agree, this camera is a gem, and nobody ever said it is like a 5d classic but better, it is definitely is. I have the 5d classic and the 5d II , and my favourite is the 6d

He's good. I have one of his books. It's called Harvest. He follows a family at harvest and takes pictures of them bringing in their crop.

Paulie B, Skyler King and a few more channels are the only channels i am excited to watch… Most todays channels are about gear only, you can somehow feel they are not passionate about photography.

Yeah man absolutely. Just need to find the time. I’m so revolted by the shill-tube this week of creators hitching their identify to a brand. Give me any camera and I’ll use it.

I grew up with similar ideals - however, we as humans have our plan, and God has another. So, I just shoot every day for pleasure; I have no interest in going professional - I did that already with motorcycles (mixing business, pleasure and journalism) - nowadays, my job is 'the job' and photography is the non-job-downtime away from the stress of 'the job'. I was literally about to recommend AGShutter, but I didn't know the English name, so it did not click immediately until I saw the screenshot - ah, well, you've got it! I recently began watching Chris Pitch - and another, I sometimes listen to is "gear doesn't matter".

@@SkylerKing Haha, nup not that kind of doctor - it is just a leftover from days gone by when I fixed things - that said, and rather coincidentally, nowadays I am in medicine, just not as a doctor TF - my other half has a white coat though. I just proof read stuff now. Which is just as boring as it sounds! We're coming down to Tainan next week to look for little owlets - I so can't wait to get away from this keyboard!

@@SkylerKing Aha, just as thought! This happened on another site today as well. For some reason it seems KZfaq is deleting comments. I checked after I posted it last night and it was there. I checked again today and it was deleted? I have not received any notification from KZfaq why it was deleted, so don’t know where they’re coming from? It was a very complimentary comment, so I don’t understand. Social media continues to baffle me. 😡

Oh, that actually seems somewhat common with KZfaq, lately. It's very frustrating. I actually have a friend who has his own KZfaq channel and we often comment on each others videos. But, there have been several times that one of my comments has been deleted from his video or hi comments have been deleted from my video and neither of us can figure out why. No notifications from KZfaq, nothing in the "studio" tab, etc. I wish they would figure that out and fix it.

@@SkylerKing Interesting 🤔 Mystery solved I guess 😉 One of the pro photographers I recommended in my original comment was @petercoulsonphotographer who has some interesting videos on working with models, and his approach to making them comfortable in front of the camera. Also check out Ben Staleys unique “studio” shoots in his Portraits Playlist. Keep up the great work! 👍
