Zero Arken Optics SH-4J on my Christensen Arm Ranger 22LR using Reticle Measurements.

In this short video i head to the range with my Arken Optic SH-J4 equipped Christensen Ranger 22LR to get it re-zeroed. I explain how to measure the distance off of the desired point of impact using the reticle and then making the needed adjustments with the turret(s). Bit of plinking time at the range enjoying unseasonable weather here in Michigan. Though its chilly its not Michigan February chilly.
If you are looking for a great precision 22LR combo this is a great set up. Im running a set of Arken Low Halo rings and shooting CCI standard velocity ammo today. This little Ranger rifle shoots well under .5moa with premium match ammo with this set up. Its definitely a great American made rifle coming out of Utah. Carbon fiber tension barrel and a TriggerTech adjustable trigger are standard as is Ruger 10/22 mag compatibility. Ive customized my stock for adjustable cheek height as well as a sponge camo cerakote finish making it a bit unique. Thanks for checking in . Do you have a favorite 22lr you enjoy shooting?

I have this same scope that I just mounted on my savage .22 fv sr with a boyds varmet stock. Can’t wait to get to the range to sight it in. Joining my local range soon too. Interview in a couple weeks!

Good content.Shooting off bench with bipod , left handed, using right handed rig looks way more natural. You don’t need to release your firing hand grip, or even move away from the eye box .

Is that their 50mm scope? Also assuming this is a 34mm tube, what rings are you using? Thank you

6-24×50 sh-4J vpr/mil. Tube is 34mm and rings are 0.92" Arken Halo Rings.

What did it take to add the adjustable cheek Riser? I've been wanting to upgrade mine, but I'm not sure how.

The stock was cut and epoxy filled etc to hold the posts.

Just west of flint. Lol So if you was to buy again would you do the ranger you have, bergara bmr , or tikka t1x,. Im stuck the ranger has a lot of plus's for me but every thing i see an hear is that its not very accurate. I have a bunch of 10/22 mag's but i shoot ara 50yd benchrest with my custom 10/22 . I like to shoot long distances, 230 to 400 yards. so I've been looking for a bolt gun. If u dont mind me asking, what is your opinion?

Went to sight in my cva cascade 308 arken scope 34mm..when I shoot my scope moves forward in the slots ....it is torqued to spec's what could be wrong

I would pull scope and clean it and rings good with alcohol. Inside rings lightly scuff with green pad or a 1000 grip paper such.

@@RugerGundog it's not slipping in the rings the rings are moving forward in the slots on the picatinny rail every time ai pull the trigger
