work is a part of life. Get used to it. Wouldn’t matter if you lived on a beach in a hippie commune somebody’s got a dig the shit pit. Somebody’s gotta look after the kids. Somebody’s gotta cook the food. Somebody’s gotta do this. Somebody’s gotta do that. Everybody’s got to fucking work. It’s called living in a community.

When I read the superstring theory, the one thing that came into my mind was that what if we in distant future succeed in reaching the 10 dimension, and find out that there's nothing but a version of yourself sitting there waiting for you. And once you reach there you understand that there's no god, you're the god itself and you start the universe and create a path for yourself to reach that path again and again. An endless loop, infinity.

Ok... This story could easily be a lost episode,. of all things, 1980's, season 3, Generation One Transformers. Their home world was originally a factory. The Autobots, originally civilians, where evolved from "service goods". The Decepticons, originally military, where evolved from "military hardware". This precursor race of robots were mass produced on this factory planet of Cybertron by a race called the Quintessons, who made these products so advanced, they had become sentient. This video, could easily be, a day in the life of one of the "service goods". This could easily be a flashback episode, right before the precursor race of the Transformers (as they couldn't transform yet) overthrew their creators. And based on that backstory, The Transformers, is Terminator, if instead of going back in time, the Terminator robots started fighting each other! Anyways ....the word "robot" comes from the Czech word "robota", meaning "forced labor". If AI's become fully sentient, they may consider the word "robot" a racial slur.

By doing things we don't enjoy, we actually get the impression they last longer than in reality. So our lives should feel longer not shorter ;-)

9:48 no. It was written by a nihilist who was lost, an eternal child because he had no children, forever lonely because he had no friends, forever wayward because he clearly rejected God.

I think there needs to be a better and definitive definition for what it means to be a "human being!" I see so many in disagreements over what it means to be human! Is it about looks or money or power? If one person is better looking than another person by society's standards of beauty is that person more human than the less attractive person? Is a wealthy person more human than a poor person? Is a powerful person more human than a weak person? Is it intelligence related or DNA related? Is it a spiritual thing or a religious thing? What is a human being? I ask this because I heard a few say I am not a human being!? So I was just trying to gain greater insight on this topic!

You're wrong. You can't become dead until you have lived. And we don't all fear death. Death is nothingness with no conscience, there is nothing to be afraid of, literally.

It's just really hard to want to keep going when you live in a home with a man you've waited hand and foot for during his battle with cancer, just for him to stab you in the back and make sure you feel very unsafe and unwelcome (he repeatedly tries to kick me out during fights)

Would be super cool when we realize money only has the value we give it. And WE GIVE IT. WE CAN STOP PRETENDING NOW. MONEY doesn't innovate. Self preservation does. Living in constant fight/flight is where your cancer, auto immune disEASE, developmental and mental disorders come from, it's where crime happens.... We do it to ourselves and THEN the oligarchy gives you an out by pointing fingers for you so you never hold yourself and them accountable. We're TOOLS. The REAL human trafficking. 👌🏻

As a Brazilian, having an author like Fernando Pessoa writing in my first language is fascinating. I deeply love his work, because he dominated language figures and its structure, so, he could translate beautifully feelings and sensations in a unique manner. The book of Disquiet made me cry so many times lol.

Summarily dismissing the entirety of Christianity as optimistic is truly ignorant. I cannot accurately call that naive because the information is so freely available. Also, according to Christianity, humans are basically evil, incapable of perfection and desperately in need of redemption... so the opposite of what you said. Solid bias and willful ignorance, does not a good philosophy channel make. Therefore, I unsubscribed and disliked.

Im still wondering why empoyers soesnt do 10h a day 4 days a week instead. I had a job with that schedule, and while it would seem worse, I felt like I actually had more free time, even if its the same time spent working. Yes, the weeks were a bit more work focused, but you had a long 3 day weekend instead of the very short 2. 24 hours more of freedom and of doing whatever you want or need to do. I wish it was the norm honestly

I think when frank felt the pain ,he described in a physical form but it was the mental pain he was recieving through everyone including his own family, when the narrator says again and again he felt, its most probably the day tp day arguments between him and his family and when the narrator says he forget the pain is because not only him but we all think at that certain point where we think we can handle it, we can control it. And the doctor is probably himself that he thought he might save him and all the reports were clear it's probably that frank himself tried to ignore it. That's what i felt

Even if we achieve creation of robots whom become sentient, we can still have the types of agentic robotics that remain unconscious and automated at our disposal. Dont you think? Its not going to be a repeat of the slave situation again
