YES this guys vid is the truth now these cars are rather familiar from 2001-2007 with he zetec then duratec to example my 2007 on the valve cover shows nothing it’s also known as the MZR or DA20 2.0l that Mazda 3-5 came with but Mazda choose a variable valve timing cylinder head🤔….NOW you will notice if u have 2005-2007 that it is on the fourth or fifth turn it will chime like that make sure to follow these instructions he shows and tells you perfectly and understanding straight to the point and clear objective to the audience 👍amazing how to reprogram VID☝ A+👌 mine that is just a twin cam with intake flaps in the intake manifold there known to fail as well after a long time….u replace it if u hear a lot clacking cylinder 4 is usally the worse sounding….the risk the flap breaks sends it through the intake valves and destroys the internals in the head🤔…..300$ intake delete the system n get a tuner programmer u can actually de active that system with it or replace the manifold with the original intake flaps and your good…👍 Little story I wanted to put with these cars… most owners don’t know about or don’t know that it’s the main and only thing that can actually kill your engine no other interference part on the engine just that….amazing reliable mines with 276.000kms still climbing no oil leaks amazing engine…..if you do 4500-6000 Kms interval oil changes this engine can last longer then the body will and remember ALLL OIL are NOT the same 5w20 look at the back of the bottle for the API and certification it will have the brands example ford/dodge/gm @the back of the bottle NEVER put just any 5w20 car nerd at heart and I take it very seriously this generation has no idea lol and I wish n hope more will learn and put out info like this with older cars it’s worth it and helps a lot people out and SAVING MONEY$$ IS THE “key” 😉in this VID ENJOY IT THANKS 🙏 FOR PRODUCING it n the info 😇

This video actually worked on my 2005 ford focus. The guy who posted a video saying to turn the key eight times is WRONG!!! At least for a 2005 ford focus. I will say, you don't have to have your old key fobs for this to work, as I lost my old fob and this worked perfect for my two new ones. I think he was just saying in order for all your fobs to work, (if you have your old ones), they all have to be present. This is the only comment I have ever posted on KZfaq, that's how much I appreciate this dude. Good on ya mate!

My Dad used to do the flare trick when I was a kid, kind of a crap shoot as to whether or not it works. I would rather trap them so I KNOW they're gone. I use a GopherHawk or a Cinch trap and I have a dead gopher to show for my trouble. I also don't want my cat finding some sick or dead rodent full of toxins that it will eat.

They will bury that flare really fast. Best to if a blower to fill the tunnel system fast. The gopher smoke bombs are only a couple bucks each

I found a new mound and it was back filled for 5 feet. Had to do a ridiculous amount of digging to get the tunnel open.
