Love figures in greatcoats. And as you say so much easier to get boots on the table.

Can you apply paint if you already shellacked them? I painted a stagecoach, but I want to change a few things on it, but we already shellacked it.

How do harden a miniature polyester flag to shape it like it’s blowing in the wind?

By far the best tutorial on the topic... shame she no longer makes videos, the entire channel is still one I come back to for so much of my miniature painting advice. Something to add, a trick from lino cut printing. If you get a spray tack adhesive, not spray glue, tack adhesive (basically what post it notes use in a can). You can mount this paper to a sheet of regular printer paper and then print on it with an ink jet, and then peel the print off of the regular paper and use the printed version. If you didin't want to hand paint the flags. Great video, by far the best flags... She really is, was, an underrated youtuber in the miniature painting space.

There is even evidence that browns were used , but very nice to see them being painted in grey. They were not just blue and black. Early Landwehr would be a right mix. I’m working on some browns know try and have something different but authentic a hard job

+1 for a Russian Pavlov Grenadier. A richly green-clad alternative figure would be a French line Chasseur a Cheval officer with a pelisse: essentially a fur busby- or shako-equipped Hussar officer figure with a pelisse in the same dark green as the dolman jacket. Not traditional for line chasseurs but known, in the same way that British foot regiments' flank light company officers, Light Infantry officers, and Rifles officers occasionally affected a pelisse. The pelisse was the signature uniform piece of the hussar style, and addws dash and elan to the conservative dark green dolman. A British Rifles officer with a dark green pelisse would be a dandy-fine choice as well.

I survived the war, I learned English. Then I became an extra in all three "All Quiet on the Western Front" films. I then washed my hands, after that I opened my Wiener schnitzel shop. Today we have a buy one get one free deal!

Nice but when you have a company of men to paint and not just 1 company you head will explode giving this much effort to each figure !

what I do is list out the entire process from a video, then see what I can cut. It's always relative to necessary speed and number of figs -- but this will be a great template IMO

thanks for the tips painting Italians. Have you done specifically Alpini, Blackshirts and Bersaglieri as well? I realize that there was little variation in the Italian uniforms. I am interested in your ideas to make these individual units stand out on the tabletop. Have a great day!

Excellent job. Despite the artistry, what I cannot shake from my head when watching this is that the trumpeter is not only standing out because he is the only white-horsed rider but he has no armour either. Easy to pick out and easy to kill. There goes the command and control ...

I've been hunting the internet for a Maori model to fit a D&D character I want to create, based on HAKA and Maori. You've just popped into my feed tonight, and first, your paint job is amazing, but now I have to go find where to buy this mini myself. Thank you!!!
