How do you feel about their ESCs. Im working on a dela with Alibaba. Going to order a few more motors and then i saw the T160V2 esc 160amps and was thinking for $80 its a good deal. It has timing and boost too so i could easily run it in my drift car. I was just curious if you had any knowledge on them. Thank you as always

They are really good ESC's. Just remember, if you spend more than $800, you will have to pay a Tarif tax. You can also get a programming card for it. I'm not sure if they have a bluetooth option.

@wutupclegg6618 yea for sure I've imported stuff before. It's going to be small order to start. And yea they have a program card for them. I usually use HW escs strictly but I like branching out and for $80 I will toss it in the drift car lol

@LegendsPizzaCo4 сағат бұрын
@wutupclegg6618 that's what I was thinking. Manufacturing items is very expensive and difficult. 90% of these brands, whether it be a servo or esc, are made by another company and rebranded. These smaller companies don't have the power to Manufacturer their own stuff. Like agfrc servos. They make alot of other companies servos but nobody knows that. So at the end of the day there is 3 to 4 companies making all the rc parts then rebranded. The companies we buy from are basically just marketing companies marketing a product the didn't really make.

Anyone know what gearing to try with a 2wd associated buggy with a 21.5 motor?
@wutupclegg661815 күн бұрын
It depends on the track surface and how technical it is. Start off with a 27t and go from there. If you are noticing not enough punch, right away, lower the teeth. After about 3 minutes of hard driving, check your temp. If it is too hot, drop the teeth size. If you still have plenty of punch and your motor is not getting too hot, after a 6 min. run, you can add teeth to the pinion.

Not because the 17.5 was bad, actually it is great, but just because I'm not very experienced and I'm thinking I will have better control. The 21.5 class in my area is quite competitive also. I won the first 2 races I did in the Novice class. Then tried 17.5 intermediate. I got 6th out of 7 in the main. but I crashed a lot, and that's what I'm working on trying to fix.

That depends on a few things. What track are you racing on, how often do you crash, and how often does the other drivers crash. Track surface and setup is very important. If you are a racer who rarely crashes and/or makes mistakes, the almost any will be good. However, if the other drivers drive the same, then you'll need an upper edge.

My Carb is not sucking fuel. Everything is clean and none of the holes are clocked. You got any suggestions?
@wutupclegg66182 ай бұрын
Sounds like your float level is too low, or there is a crack in your carburetor boot, between the cylinder and the carb.

@@wutupclegg6618 none of that, it was overflowing at one point. i think the carburetor slider sits too high.

Did you try starter fluid? It could be compression, leaking carburetor boot, or a bad crankshaft seal.

The Tunalyzer gives you the KV value in the automatic test, multiply that by the test voltage (7.4?) and you have the max rpm during the auto test.
@wutupclegg66182 ай бұрын
Yes sir. That is correct. Did I accidently explain something different?
@malkie08312 ай бұрын
@@wutupclegg6618 no you didn’t, but you use the manual speed test to get an rpm value which is difficult to get a true reading from as it jumps about a lot. Of course max rpm off load is a pretty useless value anyway, but we all like big numbers 🤣
@wutupclegg66184 күн бұрын
Manually is almost the only way I can read the RPMs. I would calculate the Kv, but that's harder to explain in every video.

I bought a used car and did a bunch of research on motors, prior to ever driving my car, I was thinking I would need/want the fastest motor I could get, But I bought a used speed Controller (hobbywing G2S) and with it I got a used 17.5 reedy motor, Than before I ever tried the Reedy motor I ordered a 17.5 motor new, and then I tried the reedy and it absolutely rips so I havent needed anything more, so I actually havent even tried the New, Timed/shimmed motor i ordered yet.. because the reedy 17.5 is already faster than my ability.
