How do you feel about their ESCs. Im working on a dela with Alibaba. Going to order a few more motors and then i saw the T160V2 esc 160amps and was thinking for $80 its a good deal. It has timing and boost too so i could easily run it in my drift car. I was just curious if you had any knowledge on them. Thank you as always

They are really good ESC's. Just remember, if you spend more than $800, you will have to pay a Tarif tax. You can also get a programming card for it. I'm not sure if they have a bluetooth option.

@wutupclegg6618 that's what I was thinking. Manufacturing items is very expensive and difficult. 90% of these brands, whether it be a servo or esc, are made by another company and rebranded. These smaller companies don't have the power to Manufacturer their own stuff. Like agfrc servos. They make alot of other companies servos but nobody knows that. So at the end of the day there is 3 to 4 companies making all the rc parts then rebranded. The companies we buy from are basically just marketing companies marketing a product the didn't really make.

in the video, I show the dimensions. I can't remember the measurements off the top of my head. You will need at least a total of 3 batteries. You will have to make up a total of 36 volts. Anyone know what gearing to try with a 2wd associated buggy with a 21.5 motor?
@wutupclegg6618
@wutupclegg6618 15 күн бұрын
It depends on the track surface and how technical it is. Start off with a 27t and go from there. If you are noticing not enough punch, right away, lower the teeth. After about 3 minutes of hard driving, check your temp. If it is too hot, drop the teeth size. If you still have plenty of punch and your motor is not getting too hot, after a 6 min. run, you can add teeth to the pinion.

@wutupclegg6618 Thank you 😊 I bought a 17.5 Surpass V6 because you seemed to like it so much. I'm a newbie, and It is definitely fast, but after 3 races, I decided to buy a Surpass V6 21.5 and try that. Not because the 17.5 was bad, actually it is great, but just because I'm not very experienced and I'm thinking I will have better control. The 21.5 class in my area is quite competitive also. I won the first 2 races I did in the Novice class. Then tried 17.5 intermediate. I got 6th out of 7 in the main. but I crashed a lot, and that's what I'm working on trying to fix.

That depends on a few things. What track are you racing on, how often do you crash, and how often does the other drivers crash. Track surface and setup is very important. If you are a racer who rarely crashes and/or makes mistakes, the almost any will be good. However, if the other drivers drive the same, then you'll need an upper edge.

@wutupclegg6618 yea ive thought about that too. I need to double check with my track. I know they check the blinky mode I'm not sure if they check the motors too closely unless it's a huge club race. Let's say they check and I have to stay away from the outlaw/bandit motors. Do you prefer the Hobbywing over the Team Powers Actinium V5. The test results seem to show the HW is a stronger motor at similar amps. I was also looking at a Helix Fantom too. Those 3 motors seem to be top notch. Thank you for your help

I haven't heard it called that in decades. Try looking searching "Needele Jet" instead of "Emulsion Tube." Needle jet is a lot more common name. eBay has them. Also, Google will have a list of suppliers.

I have a 99 CR125, it has a fresh full engine build. Carb has gone through an ultrasonic cleaner and all passages and jets have been cleaned. My problem is the idle adjustment is screwed about half way out so it will idle. When i got the bike it was set that way also. Bike runs great but i know something has to be wrong with the idle circuit but can't put my finger on the cause. Idle air screw is turned out at 2 turns, 1.5 turns has no affect.
@wutupclegg6618

Ultrasonic cleaners are really nice, but they will not remove major clogs. You can run a stran of wire through the chokes orifice. Also, make sure your idle screw is the right one.

The Tunalyzer gives you the KV value in the automatic test, multiply that by the test voltage (7.4?) and you have the max rpm during the auto test.

@@wutupclegg6618 no you didn’t, but you use the manual speed test to get an rpm value which is difficult to get a true reading from as it jumps about a lot. Of course max rpm off load is a pretty useless value anyway, but we all like big numbers 🤣
