Not sure if you’ll see this, but I had some questions since there’s still very little content on this smoker. After a year with it, how do you like it? How long of a cook can you get out of a basket of coals? Can you grill with this drum like you can with the Oklahoma Joe Bronco? I want to add a drum to my collection and I’m torn between the two.
@HolySmokesBBQ16 күн бұрын
I still love this barrel! I can get on average about 2 hours on a single load of charcoal. My favorite part of this smoker to this day is the unique heat/smoke circulation. Everything I’ve made on it is cooked evenly every time. Thanks for watching!

Great job. Just a heads up to the left on in the inside of the barrel theres a hole that you can bring the probe thru and then you won't be shutting the grill lid on your probe cables. Just a tip lol

Oh I know! The problem is I’m lazy and don’t wanna feed it through the hole every time so I just close the lid on it 😂😂😂

Mahi Mahi is one of my favorite fish next go Grouper just a little tip Mahi Mahi has a blood vain that should be cut out before cooking that blood vain is what will give a fishy taste if you cut that out WOW that fish will be perfection. To know what the blood vain looks like its the dark part of thr fish its normally a dark pinkish color you want actually see a vain but you will be able to tell when part to cut out when you look at the filet its the dark part. If you cook with the blood vain in make sure to take out all the dark brown or grayish color meat it just not that good to eat you can eat it but your Mahi Mahi will taste a lot better if you just dont eat it, stick with the white meat... You fish tacos look good and the filets looked really good hot off the gril I did notice you took some of the blood vain out after cooking next time cut it out before cooking the taste of your mahi mahi will be fantastic it just kicks it up a notch...
