Kits has lost its soul. Vancouver is way overpriced and while you might be able to afford it there is no real community there. Just rich people. This guy is part of the problem.

Kits is beautiful but way too pricey now! The condos are costly and the houses are ridiculous. Arbutus Walk is a nice area from an old brewery. The Arbutus Greenway is awesome. Sam Greer the crook.

My Grandfather built many homes in Dunbar before 1925! The last home they lived in before moving to Crescent Beach summer 1924, was for sale for about $1,500,000 Feb.2006 on 29th Ave. on the north side just east of the shops on Dunbar St. Across the street was another he had built where the lady toured me thru, allowing me to take pictures. Only the kitchen was changed @ the back with glass doors onto a 2nd floor patio. 🤗 I searched my grandfather, Mr. Nehemiah Stevens, builder or contractor @ the Archives!

Shaughnessy is one of the most delapitated neighborhoods in Vancouver. It’s about 50/50 mix: foreign bought and left empty/ or still lived in by elderly owners who can’t afford the property tax so they have been deferring payments for years and whoever they pass the property on to will have to immediately sell to pay the backed property tax. Shaughnessy is effectively a ghost town in the middle of the city. Majority of homes in Shaughnessy have been in disrepair for years now.
