As Ornitpoters get larger, it becomes more difficult to fly by flapping their wings. The largest wingspan of my Ornitpoters is 304cm. I think even large pterosaurs can fly if they mainly fly by gliding and with a little flapping of the wings. 11年前の作品です。しばらくぶりに飛ばしましたが、気持ちよく飛びます。Motor-Gear systemは馬力があり、高周波数の羽ばたきに適しています。Servo Flap systemではできない業です。

この機体は今でになく、推力があって良く前進しますね。通常の機体のスパーにあたる骨を羽ばたかせて、その しなり具合や翼の被覆の材質によっても変わりそうで・・・ とにかく、パラメータが沢山ありすぎて頭が変になりそうです。 外野ですから言いますけど足を付けて離陸！するのを見たいですな。

ありがとうございます。12年前に製作した機体ですが、健在です。離陸は羽ばたき機ではかなり難しいです。脚で地面を強く蹴ることができる装置を付ければ離陸できます。または、カタパルト。

ありがとうございます。翼の前縁のカーボンロッドを堅牢に組んで作り、後縁はしなやかに煽れるようにロッドを選ぶことですね。翼端を少し後退させるときれいに羽ばたきます。

dear kazu, upon searching i found out most servos dont last long and heatup while using it as flapping power in ornithopter, one guy said theres a brushless dc motor high speed servo that is the most adequate for flapping without getting warm and has plenty or power but the catch is its expensive , HSB-9370TH servo

The Servo I am currently using does not heat up much and can be used for a relatively long time. Blue arrow AF D43S-6.0-MG Digital Servo Blue arrow D0576HT-HV KST MR320 DEMAND DBS6084V 8.4V Stall Torque: 60 kg-cm by 8.4V 80g (Price 7254JPY) etc
