I was thinking of making a shitpost as a tribute to the og vid, and I stumbled upon this video So cool to hear the man himself and to know about his story, and it's really inspiring how he never let bullies affect him as a person

Shapiro's "logical" hatred of rap is a smokescreen. He doesn't hate rap because it doesn't meet his standards of "what music is" he hates it because black people make it. You can't convince him otherwise or out-logic him because he's not working from a logical framework. Don't get it twisted, he's not interested in a debate, he's interested in pushing an agenda.

I always approached the song from the other direction, from the angle of NGGYU being Rick's one and only megahit. Everyone's heard it, and everyone faux hates it. You go to his music just released and you'll see dozens of comments just repeating lines of NGGYU. He has nearly 40 years of experience and a cheesy love song from the beginning is all most people know of him. Everyone pretends they hate it, but its the one thing they love from him. Hes a star by being turned into a joke. An empire of dirt.

Denzel wrote Mad I Got It because one of his childhood friends tried to rob him. So he reflected on that, X's death, his life, and how they all reflect the bigger picture

Love the vid. Never could understand people who had large reactions to moral hypotheticals. This helps. Also, it respect to the two questions: 1) It is not morally wrong to fuck the chicken. For the reasons outlined. 2) Same goes for Jack and Jill. As long as it is consentual, and no unequal power dynamics are involved, i don't see any harm.

14:33 Not to mention, the lead-in song of Johnny, The Outsiders, builds up to Cash. Like each Johnny is someone else. Everyone is someone else. Outsiders.

I've had an on and off interest in palaeontology throughout my life. When I found this video, it introduced me to the time before dinosaurs, something I overlooked as a kid. This introduction has led me to learn so much about prehistory and sparked a fondness of anomalocaris itself! I've recently purchased a crochet pattern, so I can crochet my own very anomalocaris. All thanks to this funny little video!

When I first heard this album, it was hard to piece together the narrative, but I rocked with the sound of this album so much! It’s mix or dark themes with Erie rhythms that still get me moving is facinating. It’s sort of like the musical embodiment of a chaotic end to the world movie, where everything slowly gets worse and crazier, but by the end it leaves you with a protagonist you can latch onto. To put it simply, the world around Denzel is crumbling, but by the end he finds a way to prevail, but leaving you questioning if he’s anywhere what the same person. It’s truly a masterpiece of dark and chaotic storytelling presented in a erotic soundscape that still hits your ears in a way that gets you excited. It hits many emotions, from mellow tracks, to synthy swaying, to high octane bangers, or pure horror core vibes. It’s so dynamic and borderline random at times, but that’s what makes it so interesting. On top of that, the fact there are so many way to interpret every line of this record is a positive to me. It leaves a lot to figure out and piece together, and you may need to listen a few times to get it, but because it sounds so good you really don’t mind. And once you get, it all just clicks. Any part you might have thought were weird or didn’t make sense, now come clear to you. Every time I listen to this album, I find a new thing I live about it. Every beat does a great job at conveying the emotions Denzel wants you to feel. His writing, energy, cadences, flows, and voice inflections change so much, but he makes all of them sound so good and work into the theme of the album. Every feature is so perfectly calculated to whatever song they get on, and always to do their best to step far into the world dense creates. Every. Single, thing. HITS! If it wasn’t clear already, I fucking love this album. Great analysis, you helped clear up some details I missed. I can tell how much of a fan you are and how much breaking down this album meant to you. Great job dude!

Lmao that song literally is a banger, you didn't understand a lot of the lyrics and the memes the video had. The little comic in 15:00 was showing a nerd that criticizes incels and a slut, and in the end the incel was the dude calling people losers that he turn out to be the loser. Dude this song may not have a message that you like but the lyrics and the way how they are put it in the song alongside with the memes in the background of the video is just perfect.

I've been out for 30 years, and the sh1t the that the anti-trans bigots are squirting at trans people _is the same thing they were spraying_ at me and other gay men back in the 1990s, just with some of the words changed. They think we Gen-X gays haven't noticed. They need to Think. Again. _We know what they're doing._ They're attacking trans men and women using pseudoscience, a childish-pop-sci-misunderstanding of genetics, Homophobia, and Misogyny all standing on each others shoulders while wearing a trenchcoat and a fedora claiming to be 'bAsIc-BiOlOgY' as their justification. And _they're doing it because they can't get away with shouting, "D1e, F@gg0t!" at gay men like me_ quite so easily anymore. So instead, as a way of making it possible to attack _me_ again, they're attacking trans people. Which is why we Gen-X gays are standing by our trans brothers, sisters, and others, because we know _we're next._ There are lots and lots of Elder Gays who recognize the anti-trans bigots of today as the anti-gay bigots of the past, and we're not gonna let them get away with this sh1t. Not. Again.
