Reason been your CEO is not .6ft 1" to 6ft 7" and his weight is not 132lbs to 173lbs, so he should not wear a large squat harness. This is your own sizing charts information. Hey Jeff, we just checked in with Fredrik regarding sizing for you and he mentioned he wears a medium though it is a bit tight around the waist. You should prioritise the shoulder length of waist though as it is adjustable. I think you should be using the medium inertia plate. You're struggling with the large plate and not using the correct form to do the exercise. You're even letting the pully hit the hole, proving you can't control the weight. You're using your arms, not your elbows for the upright rows.

You can interchange them! The harness works better to displace force between the shoulders and hips, so it is better for maximal intensity. But overall, it is more about ergonomics and comfort.

doesn't look like you can load heavy to get high loads with slow pull.
@Exxentric
@Exxentric Ай бұрын
The more inertia you load with the flywheels the heavier is the load that you need to generate force through. A slow pull with less inertia will not be effective for training, but if you have a heavier load a slower pace is still effective.

I dont understand when you're supposed to "resist" on this machine. If I start from the bottom of my Squat and stand up and then the flywheel tries to pull me back down. If I resist against that pulling down motion, the flywheel just stops. Am I doing something wrong? Am I not supposed to resist as hard?
@Exxentric
@Exxentric Жыл бұрын
Hey, that is a great question and thank you for posting it here! When you are working with flywheel training you need to find the flow/cadence in the movement in order to work through the whole range of motion. One possible reason for why you are stopping the flywheel too soon is that you might not have enough intertia on there when you are doing the squat, there are however methods to create an eccentric overload in the movements; where one is to stop early in the eccentric phase and then once you have stopped the motion you need to go back to the top position and follow the pull all the way down again before you do the next repetition. You can find a lot of other helpful material on our website: exxentric.com/flywheel-training/applications/

man almost bought a squat max md, looking at rhino now looking at this too. I think this is like a c2 rower resistance only one way and the faster you go the harder it gets
@Exxentric
@Exxentric Жыл бұрын
It is quite different from the C2 resistance since with flywheel technology you get a variable resistance and a constant tension on the muscles. So with the resistance being variable, you are able to get the maximum effort out of each repetition.

I see this is useful for people that has no equipment but I already have a nice functional trainer a nice standalone selectorized lat pull down, a rhino belt squat, echo rogue bike and many more equipment. I have seen a photo of someone doing push-ups across two benches (hands on one bench, feet on the other), with a chest harness like front squat harness from Spud attached to the kBox.
