The new round of tik tok version includes detergent. The old version didn’t use any detergent, only shredded laundry soap bars, borax and washing soda. The newer tik tok versions are adding in cheap detergents ( foca, Ariel) plus oxiclean, which is a way to get more mileage out of cheaper detergents by adding laundry boosters. They also now ( correctly) say to use 2 tbsp which would naturally extend how long your detergent lasts.

Very little information as to the models of plastic free coffee makers. You show a picture at 8:30 into the video for a few seconds, but no links, no reviews, no nothing on where and how to buy these products. VERY FRUSTRATING VIDEO! Please tell us the information IN THE VIDEO! No one wants to go to a link to link something else.

Did you mention anything about how installation should be properly put in to prevent mold? I thought I heard you mention it during the talk but when I went back to find it I couldn’t. Thanks

This makes so much sense, but dang people are so hardheaded about “making” their own laundry soap, yes it’s soap, not detergent! I cringe when I see people say they put it into cold water, I love when they strip their clothes to acknowledge the buildup!

there was a leak in my roof and the Co-op was supposed to fix it. they did but the mold in the attic was not addressed and they refuse to address it. its making me sick. and the humidity is really high as well. I don’t know where the humidity is coming from…we have dehumidifiers but I think it not enough.…we’re going to move so I am not going to try and fix it.

I think you made some good points. I'm currently researching surfactants, as I think that is the missing link in homemade laundry soap. 2 of the ingredients you mentioned also help soften water, so that doesn't worry me.

Thanks for this!! I was about to pull the trigger on 2800 sq ft of LVP and now I'm going to get engineered instead. There's always a hidden cost to everything. In this case it's our health. Even Cali and Shaw still use replacement chemicals that are just as bad. I dig some digging after seeing this. They're really no better, all LVP is toxic and the sales people know this. This is going to be the next Teflon epidemic.

Long story short, use the old incandescent bulbs whenever possible, because they are healthier for you. Especially use in lamps near your head, i.e. bedrooom, next to couches, etc.

I'm in a unique situation in a pristine mountian wilderness of Brazil. In this place it is so unapoiled you can literally drink the river water with no filtration and the last thing I want to do is intridice contamination of any kind to this precious land. Above that I also feel the need to keep my own body in this same codiroona dn have become quite sensitive to the toxicity of the laundry soaps a bailable here in the market. So... My household situation is currently hand washing (which makes the chemicles situation quite intense) and also cold water. I'm not sure if the water is hard or soft but there is no limeatone here, only clay and surface rising rainwater. I'm on the lookout for Borax here and an option for washing soda and will be working on making my own castle bar soap soon which I will use a as the base. Typically I find a hand wash to really out do any machine I have ever seen but the convenience will be enough to have me looking for a machine option when we have power to run it. Curious is anyone else here has experience hand washing with homade soaps or with environmental factors as a motive for moving away from toxic store bought options...

While I cannot say that I have found any compelling data about the "dirty electricity", there is evidence that infrared spectrum has advantages to humans (sun, warm light from fire, candles etc). Would be nice to see some discussion of the use of incandescent and halogen light bulbs in relation to infrared's benefits.
