My wife called me on her way home from work today and she had a treble hook in her finger way past the barb (I had a crankbait hanging from the rear view mirror and she snagged it). I watched this video and used this method and it popped out just like the video. So glad I saw this video. She was crying when she got home and now she's relaxing watching a movie with the kids 🎉

Where do you get your attachments for your track to hold your electronics and garmen livesope transducer plus all the other attachments?
@BooneBoys
@BooneBoys 4 күн бұрын
The rail mount is from Cisco Fishing Systems, I’d highly recommend those. Most attachments for the rail mount are from TraxTech. The graph mount is from Cisco as well. The livescope setup is called a shuttle mount. It’s an ice fishing setup where it’s mobile. The lithium battery is inside. It’s from Arc Labs in Canada. The livescope pole is from TraxTech. The high fishing pole holders with plastic tops are from Berts Custom tackle. They fit fine in the rail mount.

Thanks! Few more questions.. I have a Bert’s rail on the back of my 622fs. So I’m looking to set up more like yours. Are those attachments compatible with Bert’s rail? I have active target on my trolling motor up front but would love to set it up like yours. I’m a huge Foss and sometimes canton fisher but been going out to Arkansas for last 5 or so years and your videos are helping me perfect my game. We love your channel and appreciate any help! Thanks!

@@kristysynatschk4397 awesome boat! Thanks for watching our videos. Glad they help out. Yes these will fit your Bert’s. The Cisco, Traxtech and Bert’s all are interchangeable from all the folks I know. Bert’s holders fit like they should in the Cisco mount.

We love both. But hybrid bass fight harder than striped bass and on average are bigger than the striped bass you’ll catch on Lake Texoma. Where we are located, the lakes have mostly hybrid bass, so that’s why we catch more of those than anything in our videos.

@BooneBoys
@BooneBoys 23 күн бұрын
I go in the hollow part of eye socket above the eyes. I don’t know a lot of people that like it that way, my dad goes through one nostril. I think bait gets ripped off easy that way and may lose some fish with a fish missing it first time and it’s still there wounded and comes back.

WTG guys! This is the same lake you guys fished for the tournament? I was surprised you guys didn't target the Hybrids more...there are some solid Hybrids in that lake. On our local lake it's very tough to top 22" in the winter. Our summer Hybrids rarely top 20". I guess when you have a couple hundred thousand people living right on the lake...not many fish make past a certain size/age!
@BooneBoys

@BooneBoys Lake Conroe is 22,000 acres, 157 miles of shore line. ¾ of the lake has bulkheads with multi million dollar homes that are part of enormous neighborhoods. It's very common for the lake to be closed to boat traffic after hard rains to protect the homes on the water. It's also very common for the water to be rough when the wind is dead calm. Fishing and recreational boat traffic is heavy enough to cause the lake to be rough!

It will work in shallower. I don’t think you can go wrong by using both splasher and thumper. I was using it other day in 15’. I was more struggling to catch fish so was trying everything. I think it’s more effective in the winter though, but know people who use it year around and seems to work for them. We just typically don’t use it in hot weather as much.
