I agree very much with your thoughts. So I decided fo the CS12. The buttons really feel too rubbery. But the Logic Integration is very good. I wish there would be more user definable buttons/knobs. I only tested it and fiddled around for one or two hours. But I had multiple Logic crashes during the test. That worries me a lot. I could't figure out the reason yet. Maybe I may not switch between plugins so fast.
@massivebeatzz5 күн бұрын
agree - needs more knobs, and maybe a version without transport, so they can be stacked. Maybe with the crashes, it's a specific plugin that causes it that you are pulling up? Also check if you have Rosetta activated or not in case you are on Silicon, in case there's an incompatible plugin that still needs Rosetta.

it depends what part of the EQ or channel strip you are dealing with perhaps try moving from left to right, to change the parameter it controls. Generally you want to be in the 360 plugin mixer version, that os where you can see SSL channel strip (E/B/2)

first learn to speak correctly punctually and then make reviews, are you some kind of danish comedian trying to be funny here ? Regarding the floating point you don't know what you are talking about dude, these plugins are processed internally and in fact they are 32 bit and in fact they oversample the signal x8 with 8 latency because this is handled internally :D So you don't have to gain stage properly in DAW in order to avoid clipping..... ahahahahah so funny. If you don't want to be part of their ecosystem, then just go with another brand. Making a review that you will return their interface, because you don't want to be part of some ecosystem is funny :D
@massivebeatzz13 күн бұрын
my voice and english are better than anything you'll ever come up , and I get paid for having it with you racist clown. Second, and again, - they work at 24 bit internally - this Bulgarian company said so themselves., and that is why they clip. Google what that means. Their plugins don't oversample from plugin to plugin., in their chain, that is what we are talking about here. You might be new to audio.

I just want to use one earphone and don't want to be tired of switching devices all the time depending on the type of music. I listen to 80% classical and 20% jazz and pop. I have also seen the mm500 so far, and I think the instrument part is quite good, and the vocals are in the front, so the female voice sounds good. Do you recommend other headphones at this level? I think the sound field of the mm500 is okay. For classical music, the instrument tone is not too modified. , the low-frequency dive is enough for jazz. I don’t know if I understand this right?
@massivebeatzzАй бұрын
Yes - if you are an audiophile, you might like this headphone too, but keep in mind it is designed for mixing and mastering engineers to make our job easier. Reveal flaws, not over accentuate certain areas, or make things sound prettier. At the same time it is not designed to be extremely flat, because we need some help identifying problems. They also react very well to EQ and crossfeed (which is what I sue them with), and the results are stellar. I think you can't go wrong with these headphones - and it will come down to personal taste - with others in that price category. I am currently testing teh Heddphone TWO, so stand by for those results.

I bouhgt Discrete Pro 4 SC because I want to record tracks and want to use them in regular mixes later. I was using a lot of cheap souncards like M-Audio, Focusrite Scarlett 4, Onyx 2 from Mackie, Echo Audio - Audiofire 8 and Mackie Onyx 400F. Audiofire and Onyx was FireWire and it was cool but conversion of Discrete Pro 4 Synergy Core is amazing! Onyx 400F came with classic preamps ONYX and they are excellent but DP4SC are very close to them or maybe the same quallity. Yes I had issues with seting-up but mostly because I knew very little about practical aspect of sample rating and clocking of CPU. There was needed stop two setting in BIOS and a few things in device manager. If you do not optimalization - your samples will be probably different even if you set-up the same sample-rate on PC/Mac and soundcard. I can honestly tell you I am very happy! There are so many possibilities with routing - you can connect everything with everything! And much more: using of FXs from Antelope is bliss for you and computer too! everything is computed in the card and your CPU can start to learn smoking because his freedom! 🙂 And there are Antelope modeling mics! Using FXs as native in insert slots (oops, CPU wake up! sorry). There are many very good soundcards in these days. But I am using Discrete 4 for 1,5 year and I am satisfied! (I have no connection with Antelope Audio. This is my posture only.)

it is - but what you are hearing is swing/shuffl ethat is quite high so it "drags" - and - when syncing Ableton and the TR, there is latency - so once can adjust that in Ableton, so the hardware and software sync up.

Hello, I would like to purchase the motu ultralite MK5 audio interface for use in concerts on a 2023 M2 MacBook Pro, 16GB of Ram and a 512GB SSD hard drive. (free space: 380 GB) I read on the motu website: system requirements for the motu ultralite MK5: a large hard drive (at least 500 GB for recording) Do you need to have 500 GB of free space on the hard drive or just a 500 GB hard drive regardless of the free space left on it? Thanks:)
@massivebeatzz2 ай бұрын
I imagine ., because they OFFER you some free software (plugins, sounds etc) with the purchase - that is why they want you to have that space. Other wise, MOTU app does not use much space at all, maybe - tiny App. So you are totally fine. They mean 512 GB of hard drive, not free space. I have a 1TB and have 80GB free, on a regular basis... :) Also I tested this on a 256GB macbook Air, a 128GB iPad, and above mentioned 1TB Pro. Same result.
