There was another Voltron cartoon. I don't remember the name, but it was something like Voltron the animated comic or something like that. It had both teams; I think galaxy garrison stole the plans to the Lion team but they could not recreate the lions so they had to make something that would do the same job but ended up needing 15 ships to do it or something like that. I need to look around for it.

Just the name alone made everyone in my family laugh, and we tuned in to the first episode just to see what the hell this thing was. It actually wasn't a bad show, and I watched it after that. The morphing into animals thing was pretty creepy though.

Hated Voltron 3rd Dimension (except that they brought back some of the original voices) and the immediate New Cartoon from (Cartoon Network) that followed it which was a totally black Aerodynamic looking goofy Voltron....also hated the Netflix one even though some of the art and animation was up to date)

One thing that was strange is there were no ground battles only in space or midair plus barely any other civilian scene.

Did you know that World Events Productions acquired Beast King Go-Lion by accident? When going through Toei’s catalog they said they wanted “the lion one” but they meant a different anime. How do I know? The staff at World Events Productions told me at an anime con in their native St. Louis in 2005.

Voltron:LD feels like it came out not too long ago but it was 8 years ago. Almost a decade and ago but feels like it was only 2/3 years

Vehicle Voltron was good here in Mexico, I liked the story more than the Lions Voltron, didn't like the lions one much.

Well done....this fits nicely among all the Voltrons. Knew them all, loved them all...except for the Animerican styled version with the kid apprenticeships...for both the 3D and kid Voltron nice everything..except the writing and pacing. NOTHING, of course, beats the music of Voltron....uhh...you know...the Lion one. DJ xSUBn 😅

My favorite Voltron episode is the one where they fight some giant Kaiju. They first try to fight it as individual lions, but fail, and then they unite as Voltron and defeat it. Which episode was that again?

I still can't get over the fact that the Wilford Brimley Character aparently never bothered to search for his missing friend, even as he could be sure that he was captured by the merauders. I also wonder why it was necessary to kill off almost the entire cast from the previous movie (Cindels big brother and her parents), just unecessarily cruel. That was really a "record scratch" moment. LOL
