they had a Star Wars trilogy lined up and all that was going around their brains was the Star Wars theme. and then when they screwed up and rushed the greatest show on TV the Star Wars show was cancelled. i wish we could go back in time and give someone else the reins, its clear that once these two got past the books they had no idea what to do.

I have rewatched your Beast machine retrospective three times. Beast machine is one of my favourite series. I know it gets a lot of hate but I really enjoyed the world they built and the character motivations. Thanks for the rewatch

I just recently finished watching all of got for the first time, in a short span of time, roughly a month and after that horrendous final season I feel so empty..."was it right?... what they did to the story?"...it wasn't right.....so relatable....so regrettably I can't shake the feeling of emptiness and hatred towards D&D for ruining the ending of the show. And yet, I still can't help but feel that ReBoot: The Guardian Code is the worst modern reboot, both in comparison and on its own merits. Lemme put it this way: Star Trek got a Star Trek movie, warts and all (Trek 2009). Godzilla got a Godzilla movie, warts and all (Godzilla 2014). James Bond got a James Bond movie, warts and all (Casino Royale). Battlestar Galactica got a Battlestar Galactica miniseries _and_ show, warts and all (Galactica 2003). Danger Mouse got a Danger Mouse show, warts and all (DM 2015). And super heroes like Batman and Spider-Man get multiple reboots for their cinematic career that mostly understand the properties they are. ReBoot got a _Code Lyoko_ show. The Guardian Code is, at its core, one man cynically taking over a beloved IP, and tossing it into the garbage to make his newer, crappier show. It has nothing to do with the original source barring an entire episode dedicated to mocking the rightfully angry fanbase. It is a shameless, vile, spiteful _sell-out_ on par with The Witch from Mercury and F.E.A.R. 3. And even on its own merits, it's just bad. The actors are doing their best, but the writing is preposterous and terrible, not to mention the plot being a cliche storm of every Power Rangers knock-off ever. When it comes to reboots, ReBoot: The Guardian Code takes the gold trophy as the utter worst.

I grew up with reboot seasons 1, 2, and 3 and beast wars and shadow raiders. I didn't get to see season 4 till later. Then reboot the guardian code hurt my sole. Reboot should have ended after season 3. Season 4 failed to live up to my expectations

My complaint with reboot season 4 is the animation is so different from season 3 it feels weird.

Everything you said in this video was everything I felt watching Ad Astra every time since its release which hampered my enjoyment of and appreciation for the movie. But, after five years of endless rewatches, I can now rest assured that I understand and empathize with the film. It is a masterpiece.
