Billy Cole was a vampire thrall, sometimes they are known as "ghouls". They are given some of the vampires blood to drink, granting them immortality and superiour stamina and strenght, but not completely turned. Because they are not actual vampires, they can move about in the sunlight and usually guard their master while they slumber.

It's more creepy, the legend than that movie. The folk story

We didn't get to see which ending you saw. the best one was the theatrical version where he survives and his wife hears the daughter's voice on his tape recorder, proving that everything he said was true.

I'm Korean. Gonjiam is a copy of Grave Encounters. If I were to recommend good Korean horror movies... I recommend watching A Tale of Two Sisters (2003) and The Wailing (2016).

1.) There *is* a Fright Night 2, but Evil Ed isn't in it. There are only 2 returning characters from *this* film, outside of a flashback or two... 2.) The "werewolf thing" you guys mentioned with Ed is actually classic vampire lore. Vampires could turn into wolves, mist, bats, etc.... Roddy McDowell's character, Peter Vincent, dropped the hint in his in-universe show, Fright Night.

I love how it goes full circle. When Cooper won't kill the dog at the beginning and it's a dog that saves him at the end.

One of my favorite movies. I understand that they deleted over an hour of tape due to problems with the author of the book who was getting too involved in the production of the film. I can't imagine what it would have been like with all the content the director filmed, too bad that could never be recovered. The soundtrack goes wonderfully with the essence of the story. 💪

Honestly I'm fine with the ending, I even think it's one of the films' stronger parts. Because ultimately...it's about the horror of powerlessness/of being a victim.

The guy in the black shirt comes across as such an insufferable whiny douchebag. He probably belongs in the typical Michael Bay target demographic -everything needs to be fast-paced with explosions otherwise his tiny attention span can't handle it.

Arthur tried to give her back her dead son thinking that would give her peace. Unfortunately, what's left of Jannet is a husk of a person consumed with hate and revenge As the Daly's son says in the Mrs Daly posesseion scene "they took her boy, and now she takes us". And that she does by forcing the children to kill themselves. What makes this worse, is that it appears that their spirits aren't at rest either. she has them trapped viz. the scenes when we see the dead children and the fatc that Nicholas refers to the Woman in the present tense "she's coming"

28:47 Incredible as it may seem, she didn't die from that shot. On the cover of the CDs that this film had, in the description behind it was missing that she survived And he was one of them in the middle of all this chaos.

If you watched "Rear Window," then I know you understand Raymond Burr's character is not a serial killer..."Disturbia," however, IS about a serial killer... Can't agree with your premise there., strictly speaking. Simplistically: spying on neighbors, yes...somewhat 'gradual' belief that murder has been committed, yes... determination to get to the bottom of what has been seen and NOT seen, yes.

The book that this is based on is really good. The book is based on the true account of Carlotta Moran (although that was not the woman's real name). you should look up the account. Writer Richard Matheson was there for one of the days of the investigation. He recounted some really weird stuff that he and the students from the college witnessed. Barbara Hershey's performance really sells what is going on in the attacks. I loved her relief once someone finally witnesses her attacks.

I loved this video! I loved how it all came together. And to be blunt, there are people who will believe in ghosts, but don't believe in God, Jesus, Holy Spirit, or worse, they bought the biggest lie; that Satan doesn't exist and he doesn't have demons! Ghosts aren't ghosts, they are demos especially if they bring you fear! See, God is the One Who brings joy, true happiness, calm in the storm, and sometimes sorrow because we fall away from His will. I would not go out "Demon Killing", but then again, I know God's Angels have saved me when I was hit at 110-mph-combined head-on by a drunk driver and I survived even though I had some serious injuries. Have you ever survived something that should have killed you and lived through it? You think that was your Grandpa's Ghost? Uh, no that was an Angel. And Demons cannot live inside real Christians; but sure are a lot of famous people who gave their soul to Satan just so they could have fame and money. Just saying it; well typing it really....think about it.
