This is AMAZING! I would so wear this dress for everything. You have made me want to learn how to make my own clothes! I’ve been a bit horrified by the idea of some people buying many outfits for many Eras shows and flying to many countries to see her. Always thankful for your thoughtful approach and insight xxx

I vote for Addison! I also wish they would release their patterns so we could give them a go, I’ve got massive calves and I love the taper but could do with them a bit looser 🙈

i think based on the outfits taylor wore in your footage we actually went on the same night! and the way you described it was exactly how i felt as well. it was so huge that you and i could both be there and never once see each other yet still felt warm and almost cozy

Im pretty sure I was at the same night as you (the Friday show, based on the weather!). It was so special. I made a point not to watch the show on Disney beforehand, and had avoided everything on social media so it could all be a huge surprise; and i am thankful i did! However, when I watched it on Disney (needed to show the husband all the fun stuff i saw) i realised how much i couldnt see of the show, despite having front standing. I got a few great views of taylor, but did spend most of the show looking at her from behind, and didnt realise how mad some of the stage effects are, and it actually made me a little jealous of all the people with seated tickets, or general admission standing! What im trying to say is; the stadium is such a huge place, there are pros and cons to any ticket location. I loved my experience and am so glad i got to go. I also think that if I'd spotted you there, i probably would have fan girled just as hard as if I'd bumped into Taylor herself lmao

Waaah I love the dress! When you first explained your vision, I wasn't sure, but it looks so so good. And the way you described your eras tour experience made me feel better as someone experiencing fomo. Magical, but in an ordinary kind of way, and it made me realise that I would probably also feel extremely happy & cathartic just to sing those songs out loud with friends who also feel an attachment to the lyrics. Ty for this lovely video as always <3

That outro was beautiful and had me close to tears until it was cut off by an add for thrush medication 👍 Im seeing the era’s tour in a few days and I have let go of the pressure to have a perfect outfit and a perfect experience, I just want it to be fun.

I loved this video and your reflections at the end! I also had similar feelings but couldn’t put it into words. I loved being there and being part of the crowd, and I had tried my best to avoid too many spoilers, but I soon realised I’d have to watch the filmed version to be able to see all the details and choreo I missed from seeing it in person! Glad you had an amazing time xx

I could be mad at the KZfaq algorithm for reading my messages or I can be grateful for it bringing this video up for me to watch and take in. Because this is where my thinking is going. Especially being a 33yo female who is deeply concerned about where this world is leading to. I started to think of having kids differently. That many of us could raise the resistance. Maybe it's us who breed the change. Because if we don't, we just keep letting these poisoned, puppets keep raising the same like-minded people - the next generation. It's as though, if we don't keep breeding the same level of consciousness then this planet doesn't stand a chance. To raise my child however I want, and not based on what I learnt. Based on consciousness, and inner peace with the world, we would continue the practice of hope. To save us from ourselves. But that is my optimism talking 😂

I think my favorite thing about this tour is what the fans have turned it into. I absolutely loved my show - I've been to some big shows in my life but I'd never experienced anything quite like it. The whole mood was so overwhelmingly positive, safe, and kind. We talked to so many people from so many different places, I saw people being so nice and accommodating to others, to the workers, to organizers, and to kids. I wasn't going to make bracelets at first, but I'm so glad I did. I think the trading bracelets is a "way in" for people to come in open and wanting to connect with others, it was so cool to watch and to experience. On the other hand, I love love LOVE how fans have been so willing to share their experience with people who didn't get tickets. At every show there are concert goers ready and willing to stream those special moments, and it's so much fun to watch the livestreams and see those moments happening in real time. Swifties get a lot of crap but the reality is that the overwhelming majority are good, kind, genuinely nice people.

I found it's all jealousy, at least in my case. My cousins can't for the life them understand why I have so much free time to pursue leisure hobbies and vacations, that I look so young for my age, and have a financial safety net for my senior years... honey, I avoided 80% of life's problems by being childfree and aroace. Okay the last one wasn't a choice, but I'm grateful I have no ex stories and never experienced heartbreak. All the focus I would've used for dating in school, was funneled into getting a good career and 37, I have nothing to complain about in life. Except having n-dist neighbors, but you can't win em all. I just avoid looking toward their yard. 😂

Your dress came out beautifully! In a future video can you tour local thrift shops to see just how much eras-adjacent outfits end up there? One of the things that has bothered me about this mega-tour of Taylor's is that it has generated so much one-use fashion that often gets dumped on the thrift stores a week or two after the tour has vacated the region.

Thank you for the outro, Leena! As someone that could never attend a concert that big, but has watched the film approximately 1.869 times since it came out, that eas really sweet to hear. I do feel too a bit as if I was there, even though I was not.

Shortening your dress at the shortening line brought the waistline up to where it should be - the natural dip at the narrowest part of your waist - a much better fit on you. You can then lengthen the hemline after that if you so shall wish… or not. Your dress turned out great - and has memories attached. Fabulous!!

Love the birds! Love sewing the tag into the dress. My aunt made custom tags like that (fabric, about that size, custom printing): "Made for you by the burned out blonde," and I still have the button bracelet she made with that tag inside. It makes me feel really connected to her in a way that I wouldn't without that touch.
