I used this today…though with our regular flat collar (my dog is only 15 pounds and I didn’t want to pay for something else that may or may not work). Today was our first walk in over a year without him dragging me all over the place. Two leash corrections were all it took. So thank you!

My 15 month terrier likes dogs but wants to fight or be dominant, however, not with all dogs. Nothing I read makes sense other than she likes what she’s doing. She perfectly respectful when she knows she can’t win

But have you tried it? Not to sound confrontational, but I’ve been thinking about this because I heard you say it in another video. I’m genuinely interested in understanding the threat of incorporating this as an activity into a healthy relationship with a well-trained dog without jeopardizing anything. Not a perfectly-trained dog. Not a service dog. Just a regular, pretty well-trained dog. It would make sense to me to avoid them during training periods but at some point, they’ll respond to you regardless of what’s around. No? Again, genuinely curious about your opinion. I’m not trying to be an a-hole.

Thank you. I have a rough collie and it can be bad for him because of the thick long fur. He has to be able to cool down. Does place need to be the same spot, or can it be a command to lie or sit somewhere?

So... before you do it, they shouldn't need to use it at all? Bro just say the product doesn't work. And keep in mind that dogs are alive, and that makes them unpredictable. Shit happens. Leash laws exist for a reason.

This is very good and useful. My dog was trained with e collar but then due to my freaking job I had no time to walk him for like a 6 months to a year. And guess what - he forgot how it works. So now I need to reintroduce it.

First! Love your vids. Im running into an issue where now my dog will only train when the e collar is on. He’s showing a physical aversion to training for rewards unless i put the e collar on. I’ve been stuck in the conditioning phase because of this. Im worried turning it up will make it worst
@lukeryuzaki23284 күн бұрын
Sounds like your dog is collar wise. What you can do is stop using E-collar for a while (most of the time a month time would do the trick) and go back prong collar. With any collar, to prevent collar wise issue in dog, don't put the collar on and start training right away. Put the collar on before and after the training session at least 20 minutes each. Best is leave the collar on as long as possible without using the collar outside of training session.

@@lukeryuzaki2328 ahh i see. Yes i definitely got into a routine. As i focused strongly on changing environments while using the long leash with the e collar. It must have inadvertently taught him training is now with the e collar and he doesnt want to go back. We made so much progress with the e collar so its going to be sad to put it away for a bit. But the obedience is going out the window since he will only train with the e collar now. Thank you for the tip!

The reason a dog doesn't listen to commands is because they have been taught that they are the alpha aka boss So in a dog's mind what they're thinking is why should I listen to you you're not my boss, I'm the boss.

My dog would go until he dropped if I don't tell him to take a break. Wheezing, limping, so willing to work, or play.

Thank you so much for this video! This helped me so much with my two 2-year-old huskies! You're a life saver! Within a few days I saw a massive change in our leash walking. Now I look forward to our walks! Thank you for changing my mindset about always heeling. I need to let them be dogs. Just don't let them pull!

Thank you so much for this video. Ive been looking for so many tainers on yt training huskies. I was finding it so hard. After watching your videos, I told myself I'm going to put in the work! I have 2 huskies. They are 2yrs old. This week I started training separately, starting inside, 3 times a day for 10mins each time. Then the driveway. Then in front of our house. I've seen a huge difference within a few days. They don't pull !! I do need to test them in other areas with dogs. But I'm actually looking forward to our walks! Today, I decided to take both of them for a walk up and down the front of our house, just to see how it goes. When they saw a dog cross the street, they done very well. My girl would usually bark, but this time she just looked. I marked and rewarded. Hopefully we can eventually achieve my dream of Them both off leash 🤞🏻

This worked perfectly, Liberty doesn't pull at the leash anymore, I needed quite a bit of "Snap" on leash! This worked so well, stopped pull and began paying attention to me, I didn't have treats with me. Love your videos!!! Was such a nice walk after, so nice!! And fun!
