Unbelievable! Now THIS is my definition of perfect! I can’t get enough of 206 something about it… This video is perfect! Awesome shots , you’re lucky to get this thing out west so much 206 has been on my list for a long time. This thing is out here preaching for real, still in the top 3 for me!

Thanks dude! For us K5LA nuts this is the cream of the crop! Gotta seize the moment and catch it 28 times! haha!

This was defiinitely a great compilation of Amtrak 206. I had the honor of catching it lead the Sunset Limited some time ago here in Houston, & was very impressed that it had such a great horn! Gladd you have had multiple opportunities to catch this locomotive with such an awesome sounding K5LA!! Have a great night.

206 I definitely would like to get now. As for that scene where a few trespassers went on the rails, whilst the horn was tooted loudly for an alarm, it sounded AMAZING even when it's used like that.

I know this was posted back in 2016 Chris, but I'm going to lie, I rather miss when 6952 sounded nasty. Maybe this would've sounded nice for 6908 while 6952 still sounded similar to 8312. Or perhaps if there would've been a 6909-6914 built (because there were regular coaches ending in 09-14), either 6912 or 6952 could've used one horn or the other between this one, and how 6952 sounded wonky.

Great catches. I wish the Surf Line was like this although the new Surf Line is good in my opinion. Plus, I'm planning to have permission to use your content for a project I am gonna make so mind if I have the permits to use your content?

Man, I wonder how fun railfanning that area was…quite a variety of power, rolling stock, and when horns were still blowing in downtown San Diego.

This was a nice collection of train catches. It's always a treat now catchine EMD SD70M"s at the lead nowadays, even though they've been decreased to local service in most areas. Have a great day!

Nice video man! It’s so crazy I was going to message you yesterday about P42 #60, it was leading the Chief yesterday #3 it’s still out there as we speak. That #60 is solid so is 183 and 181, I just got 181 and uploaded it a week or so ago and since this video 181 has improved! UP 9007 sounding nice too.

P40DC 809 was deemed a total loss in 2015 and has been scrapped along with P40DC 816.
You know what this engine reminds me of? Remember a few years ago when engine 89 had that stellar NF K5LA back in 2014-16? 54 sounds exact like it!
