NO mat needed, NO forward folds, NO downdogs, NO chaturangas, NO hands on the ground, & NO inversions (read more for prenatal & postnatal tips) We'll start with a short warm up for neck & hips then stretch into standing yoga poses from a challenging “Sun C” before repeating the yoga flow 1 breath, 1 movement. Honestly, I feel like this is the very first time I've ever found a yoga workout that is challenging enough without being too hard or too difficult to follow, simple enough to keep up while still being a good workout, and easy enough to not get frustrated but still challenging enough to feel like I am gaining something from it. I've always thought that downward dog was kind of a ruse, a hazing ritual (like my summer camp counselor's instruction "go find me a left-handed snipe bag"), so I do not all regret that downward dog appears nowhere in this, yet another much appreciated video. 🙃

I just recently downloaded your app and am practicing everyday. Today during a dental procedure (I was so nervous) I was asking myself “where can I soften?” My mind and body eventually became relaxed and I observed my breath as my tooth got drilled. Before I knew it, the procedure was over. Thank you, sarahbeth! This is just one example of how these practices are helping me on and off the mat!!

Thank you Sarah Beth. I do love this flow and it was perfect for today’s morning routine. Your words especially resonated as today , is my 1096 th day (or 3 years) of not missing one day of yoga. Absolutely perfect for me today. Having missed a few days of yoga over Christmas,I did an extra long session yesterday & over did it .. ended up with a sore back! Did this practice this morning & now I'm feeling great! ❤️

Thank you for such a calm relaxing yet power in movement yoga video. My favorite thing about this video is the idea to reference ourselves as a tree and the metaphors you use surrounding that idea/thought. Thank you Sara Beth, difficult for me balance wise with my fibromyalgia and then a mat that is 1/2inch. I did my best but should have slowed the speed down a little to .75 for my difficulties in transitioning. I enjoyed this. Thank you so much for this practice, Peace & Love, Jill ♥🙏🏽♥

This flow made my torso feel so much better after yesterday's hard workout and that fall I had after slipping on ice. Just need to work on my balance during tree pose and one-legged mountain.

LOVED this routine! The wind-blown tree pose was an interesting new challenge that I would love for us to explore further in future videos! Thank you also for the extra focus on neck and shoulder stretches-needed those today!

Really loved this. The beginning was nice and slow. The second part was a bit hard since it is early morning but I still managed it. It was really great to focus the mind on the movements, breath and body. Really loved the tree pose at the end. This variation was new for me but will definitely do it again
