Do you have a similar video for the rear break pads? On my 2015 RC 350 F-Sport, they are different than those found in the front.

Did you try Monroe Ceramic pads?
@mr.foshow54745 жыл бұрын
Cjcastillo6 no I don’t thinks so. I put original parts directly from Lexus.

Why you pad slapping, it’s going to cause the rotors to squeak
@go0ky4866 жыл бұрын
Which pads have you used? I'm currently using Akebono and they squeal like a mother! Ik guessing it's the pads... but hoping it's not at the same time. The OEM pads are way too dusty.

I got them from the Lexus dealership. A friend of mine has shop and was order through them.

Make sure to apply brake lube to the contact parts. I just did mine and no sound whatsoever.

didn't think you would have to bleed them unless you take the whole caliper off
@andyburnett80122 жыл бұрын
That's just what I was thinking, I'm about to do my brakes on my R C 300h which I'm hoping are just as easy, but wouldn't be doing any bleeding?
@fernandozarco5371 Жыл бұрын
@Andy Burnett did you bleed the breaks or no?

So y’all just gonna not explain how to do the rear brakes?

Hi. I didn’t need to it only needed the break pads. The break pads were still good but I decided to change it early.

Do you need to bleed both sides after installing the brake pads? What happens if you don’t bleed them?
@rickslick754 жыл бұрын
Nothing, you don’t need to bleed the brakes when your just changing pads. Just press and release the brake pedal a few times to return the brake fluid that was pushed back into the reservoir when the pads were removed.

Amateur ! No grease?

I would use ceramic brake grease on those back plates to prevent squeaking
