Maruti Suzuki has recently launched the BSVI-compliant iteration of the Maruti Suzuki S-Cross crossover. With this switch, the S-Cross moves from a diesel-only to a petrol-only line-up. An automatic gearbox option is available for the first time as well.

Scross is a good car BUT have been saying this often. Do not need too many gimmicky features, a laggy turbo-petrol, a sun-roof or a temperamental DCT. BS5 diesel is not worthwhile for predominantly city users and its ECS requires extra care. But would want some updates in the basics of this car, a better TC at least 5 speed if not six. ESP, rear AC vents, updated instrument cluster and more safety options. Same for the Brezza.

Hi Bro, I plan to buy s-cross. Some of my friends comment that s-cross will be discontinued soon and safety wise it is worsted than breeza. Because s-cross indian model has not tested with any NCAP. I'm bit confused. Please guide me. Is there any upcoming facelift with s-cross? Please advice. Is it worth to buy s-cross?

There is a S-Cross successor in the making should be out by 2023 , as of now you get a more than 4m Crossover at cost of Sub 4m SUV . It is a good buy if you are looking for practical features and good after sales network. Excellent build quality and great suspension setup . Personally looking to buy one.

“Maruti updated the SCross 2 or 3 years ago...” Shouldn’t you be firm with your facts in a car review? Stated car price and what appeared on screen were way off.

If you keep mincing words and ignoring issues you will start loosing viewers. Have followed Bertrand in print and video for more than a dozen years, but this is downright disappointing as a review

S-Cross is a lost cause and targeted at the same mediocre carbuyers who choose Ciaz over Verna/City, winning only with pricing. If MSIL is going to bore the Indian market with petrol, why not at least do things like Hyundai - turbochargers, GDI, and dual-clutch AT that has paddle shift? I'm glad KIA is spicing things up in this segment with its lower-end of the petrol Seltos.
