45231 attacks The Settle-Carlisle 3/10/15

8 жыл бұрынHere is my footage of LMS Black Five 45231 Hauling The Settle-Carlisle steam excursion run by the West Coast Railway Company on Saturday 3rd October 2015. We first see 45231 at a very foggy Coniston Cold then digging in at Selside Shaw on her climb up the long drag. The tour was running from Cleethorpes to Carlisle.

Phil, a nice set of shots ! The Five sounded great & despite the overkill on the rear, it didn't overshadow the Black Five. Lots of atmosphere in this video. Thanks for sharing.

Cracking shots Phil , what a performance from 45231 up Selside with the two 47's not doing much . Difficult to film today I thought and nice to chat again .
