For everyone complaining that he isn’t layne. Guys layne isn’t coming back from the dead to do a reunion tour. Let’s just celebrate duval for the hard work and dedication he puts in.

Yea. I think he does pretty decent. I think it's hard for people to not compare when their favorite band gets a new singer because your just naturally used to hearing them with their songs and then another guy comes in and they instantly close their mind to them because it just isn't the same. But never means the new guy sucks. you just got to try to enjoy the music.. William does a hell of alot better than I can. Lol

Duval is a great vocalist. I'm glad that Alice In Chains continued her career with the addition of this spectacular musician. But hearing a classic like this ... impossible not to miss Layne.

Lembro da primeira vez ouvindo Alice in Chains. Nossa, era tão sombrio, sujo, aquele vocal do Layne Stayley lembrando um zumbi possuído... Aquele wah wah sujo do Cantrell (não sabia o que era na época). Que bom que eles estão aqui, mesmo sem Layne. E vida longa a Alice e suas Correntes!!!

Tive o prazer de ver o Alice in Chais no finado Hollywood Rock em 93 , tinha 15 anos rs foi o primeiro festival da minha vida , me lembro como se fosse ontem ... De la pra ca foram dezenas de festivais incluindo Rock in Rio . Agradeço por ter curtido os loucos anos 90 kk. Pena que a molecada hoje nao tem o privilegio de curtir boa musica , funk e sertanejo hoje acabaram com tudo infelizmente.

No one knows how much i love the original live performance of this song. Althought, from a vocalist perspective, this performance right here is technically on a whole new level. Amazing control in the high notes, incredible stage presence in his movements and in his vocals, precise personalizzation which also pays respect to the original version. There's no point in comparing the two, you can just enjoy both

I. Like others here Love Alice in Chains. So. So much. Unfortunately I never saw them with Layne. I have seen them with William, and as a Fan. William Duvall is an amazing Artist, Singer, Musician. In a Band full of amazing Talent. Thank you Jerry Cantrell for pushing on, and affording me, and Generations to come. The honour of being able to witness the Amazing Alice in Chains. RIP Layne..

He nails the notes and that is an A for effort because it is very difficult to pull them. But he struggles way to much and you can notice that pretty easily for sometimes it sounds like he's chocking. But is very impressive how he manages to pull through from so much vocal strain. The guy gave it his all. And that is way better than any other criticism I could give. The man deserves a lot of respect.

whitey 1 fuck off with that garbage, Jerry was and always will be the most important member of AiC, he’s always written the large majority of their music, he’s written tons of lyrics even when Layne was around, Layne was a legend but Jerry is what gave them their signature sound with his awesome songwriting and amazing guitar tone. AiC was and is a band and it wasn’t just Layne, Sean is still around and Inez joined in 93 when Layne was still active in the group, those guys have every right to continue on making the music they wrote and love to play and make a living from.

I listened to this a bunch, covered it in one band, briefly, and Mr. Stanley writing and vocals was outstanding, and he was much loved by his fans.however, like ac/DC, Alice in chains is still going, with a great vocalist. And the world shouldn't stop for the band , just because Mr. Stanley couldn't overcome his Demons! Without knowing this wasn't the original, I guarantee that over half the fans wouldn't know the difference .
