I am a newbie to your channel and have your heart disease cookbook. I have one question. Do the six handfuls of greens *have* to be cooked to be effective in preventing/ reversing heart disease. I hope someone can answer this. Thank you in advance! My husband is recovering from quadruple bypass surgery right now. Worried.

Hey girls, in your videos I notice that you always cook/boil your kale. Wouldn't it be better to just steam it, this way the kale might retain more of its nutrients?

ANYTHING Ann and Jane make would be perfect for pre-diabetic diet. Plant based eating is perfect to control diabetes and pre-diabetes. You may want to find a book called "The End of Diabetes" by Dr. Joel Fuhrman. I use his principles for my husband and his Type 2 diabetes is well managed on a plant based diet. I love Ann and Jane because their recipes are delicious as well as nutritious!

I love your recipes but finding out that I have CKD causes some hesitancy for me…I’m want to go plant based but always have to be mindful of fruits and vegetables as well, you know ( potassium, phosphorus) the usual suspects..very frustrating
