I have genius for almost 2 years. For me, it was the most reliable budget printer but one thing that I hate the most is the glass built plate and the heating pad. The heat is distributed unevenly therefor the glass plate is wrapped easily and the corner of printed material lifted up due to contrast of temperature.

I'd like to be able to buy a new bed without the glass so I can put a flex plate on the bed other then that great printer.

Does the SD card slot work? I have yet to get any sd card to be read by my genius pro or sidewinder x2. Is there a size limit? Edit*** Couldn’t get printer to recognize any size sd card in the sd card slot, but have gotten it to recognize up to 32gb cards when using a usb sd card adapter. So no size limit on size of USB, but sd card slot must be for flashing firmware only🤷🏻‍♂️

How do we disable the BLTouch probe since it is arriving broken / m999 instantly out of the box and just use a z end stop instead?

The only difference from the normal artillery genius is the auto bed leveling and the spool holder?

as much as i want to love these printers and get one, that rickety filament holder would drive me crazy. I look forward to seeing someone show the bed levelling working. In theory if the glass is flat then levelling all the corners, running ABL after that would be superfluous. Id like to see it work on something uneven like a flex plate. It seems very little change from the original models other than ABL. Been in the game long enough to wait for the community reports of printers and not the YT unboxers.
