-Never intended to run "experiments" with 1/2" Drive, but I got so many deals on Icon swivels, this was the void and I figured I would just use Astro for 1/2" with my intended purchase waiting in the wings should these disappoint

Thanks to this video I’ve bought myself this set. Been very useful on both my dirtbike fork caps and my truck’s hub bolts. I’m sure I’ll find plenty more uses

I have the 3/8 version. 10mm to 19mm. Works great on caliper bolts with a stubby impact.

I have the 3/8 drive version of this set. It works great, but they do slide on the rail. An Ernst rail will take care of that. Also, no stamping is just plain silly...I mean, at least stamp the size.

Chrome universal sockets.. and impact universal sockets.. And / Or Chrome swivels and impact swivels...ALL is how I do it...👍 One thing I've noticed about the Astro sockets is their laser etching does last fairly long. But I agree..gotta have em stamped...

Thanks for the feedback. Glad to hear their etching is better than most...They do a really good job of it and I do like the socket and body getting hit, but the total lack of any sort of stamping (big or small) is disappointing.

For me, at 1/2 in, 15 would be an ideal starting point.

Exactly, I never use anything below 17 on 1/2” drive.

Better to have them than not to have them, but I understand your guys reasoning. I got a sunex universal set that goes from 7-22mm. But sometimes you need more power than what a Milwaukee mid torque can give, and my high torque would be perfect for these astro universals.

Not many. I have a stubby half-cut #2 in 1/4" Drive and I want to say one of the magnetic welding gizmos is from VIM...I'm pretty sure the Strong Hand was out of stock and I sourced a VIM to fill in for it. And the most recent thing is a very expensive socket organizer...that video is somewhere waiting to be released.
