AUTHENTIC YAKE YAKE RECIPE - Steamed Grated Cassava (YUCA OR MANIOC)
I finally had the courage to attempt this elusive Yake Yake recipe. Thanks to my Mum for her strict instructions about the recipe, however I had to push the boundary and create a recipe I preferred.
This Yake Yake recipe caters for both the purist and creatives alike and it’s a must try.
A great Gluten Free dish which can be enjoyed with your preferred sauce or stew.
A perfect combination will be the inclusion of One Mouth Thousand (a delicacy of fried tiny fish from the Ewe tribe of Ghana) and raw pepper.
Find the full list of ingredients and measurements on my blog
ndudu-by-fafa.blogspot.com/201...
Enjoy 😘😘
Don’t forget to subscribe, try the recipe and leave comments with your feedback.

Yaake Yaake is a gluten free steamed pudding made out of Cassava and it’s popular amongst the Ewes of Ghana, Ivory Coast and Togo. The authentic recipe does require the usage of Cassava only, however I prefer to add a little bit of Corn flour for that fluffy texture. List of ingredients and measurements are available on my blog👇🏾 ndudu-by-fafa.blogspot.com/2019/01/yaake-yaake-recipe.html?m=1
