I have a sedentary job, and I’m at the heaviest weight I’ve ever been. Needless to say, I’m out of shape. These stretches were challenging enough to help me feel the burn, but not overwhelming making it easy to keep up with the program. Thank you!

i've been doing this routine for a few weeks (i didn't keep track bc if i do i get anxious lol) but i can finally hold my feet when stretching!! This has been exactly what i needed to start moving! it's a simple routine but consistency has really paid off (: and i honestly appreciate your soothing voice, i'm not a fan of the whole "no pain no gain" mindset so your videos motivate me very much! thank you

I really liked how you reassured us that it’s okay to not be able to go all the way down, it made me feel a lot better! I’m going to start figure skating soon, so I want to practice flexibility in advance. This was my first day, and I definitely felt the stretches! I’m not sure if I’ll update as I go, but I’ll try! ( D1 ) Monday : ✅ ( D2 ) Tuesday : ❌ I couldn’t find the time to :,) ( D3 ) Wednesday : ✅ ( D4 ) Thursday : ❌ I came home from school & felt really tired & sore, so I didn’t have the time! ( D5 ) Friday : ✅ Did it with my little sister! It was fun Oof, I really fell off with this lol. I ended up getting sick and life just kinda gave me everything at one so let’s try this again! Day 1: ✔️ I loved the stretch, I’m happy to finally be back and doing this

I just started stretching, I'm a beginner started last week, doing a total body stretch 5 minute video then another 15 minute video for beginners. Came across your tonight after I did the 5 min video wanted to stretch a little more, it felt good. Definitely can feel the soreness since stretching is new. But looking forward to results.

@@Sofabar so because I'm new I guess trial and error but I wasn't warming up before stretching 🙃. So I did find a video where you warm up for 5 minutes before actually stretching so your body is warm. So it's day 6 today but actually day 2 for using the warm up before stretching and I can see how it is a help with being relaxed and less tense. Stretch in the am and before bed. Still working on everything of course and breathing throughout the stretches and remaining relaxed so its easier to go into the stretch! Enjoying your video, excited to see where I am at on day 21! Hopefully further than I was when I first started lol.

After a lifetime of neglecting stretching of any kind, I’ve only recently started taking it seriously. This video was perfect for me but I did have a few chuckles, especially with the “forehead to the shin” part. Girl, my forehead is in a separate country to my shin! With practice and perseverance, I’ll let you know when the two decide to do a meet up! 😅😂

So this week, to help improve my flexibility for skating (since I'm "old" (26) and not flexible at all, been skating for a year) I started a mini stretching routine, that every night I start out with my stretching app and then I finish up with this stretching video... And so far, I feel like I'm making little baby steps progress.... But I'm going to try to keep it up for two weeks and I'll see the results then. My legs are dying, but this video is a nice cool down from the workout. 😆💕 Thank you for this vid, hopefully this will help me in the future once rinks are back open and I can skate again. :D

Don't worry if you're consistent, it'll work. I started following this video on Dec 11, 2020, 2x per day. By Day 8, I could touch my knee with my head in the 03:14 pose (I literally couldn't before...), When standing and trying to touch my feet I barely got past my knees (I used to be as flexible as a dry twig!) A month into this routine, I finally managed to touch my feet with my hands when standing. Now a few days ago I managed to touch the ground. In the end it has become a habit like brushing my teeth, I can't go to sleep without stretching and I feel so much better overall. So be consistent!

I'm really sorry you feel like that, if you could tell me where and what you didn't like or what you felt like wasn't appropriate for beginners. The point I tried to make with this video is to try these stretches even if you're a beginner. It's totally okay to not be able to do the full positions, that's expected as a beginner. Everyone has to start somewhere and I hope this video can help people get started ❤️❤️❤️

@@Sofabar Wasn’t my comment but I set this up for my mom and right away it said put your head down or put your head on your leg. Hi there! This is a quick stretch to fit into a 15 min video and not an intense stretch. The idea for the video was for beginners who can't hold the positions too long yet and need a routine that helps them get a bit more flexible. If you would like longer stretches, please take a look at my 5 Stretches series or pause this video and hold the poses you wanna hold longer. I will definitely make more beginner videos where the poses are help longer, stay tuned!!! 💜💜
