I used the GoPro HERO 9 Black's TimeWarp 3.0 feature to capture a recent bike ride on the Washington, Baltimore, and Annapolis (WB&A) trail. My ride was broken into two separate segments because the WB&A has been an ongoing project and not all the segments built thus far have been linked together. There seems to be a lot of different information floating around online as to how long the full/linked trail will be, but for now I was only able to do two separate segments that were each ~5 miles long.
I started my ride at the trailhead in Odenton. There wasn’t dedicated parking for the trail that I could find so I ended up parking in a parallel parking spot across the street from First Evangelical Lutheran Church (the Church had a sign that unauthorized visitors would be towed for parking in their parking lot - so I didn’t risk parking there). The trail runs about 5 miles from that starting point and ends (at least at the time I rode it) near the Patuxent River (construction was happening, so it looks like they are working to make the extension to the southern section).
Once I finished the first segment, I drove to the trailhead on the other side of the Patuxent River and parked in the dedicated trailhead parking lot off Race Track Road. The trail then continues from this starting point for ~5 miles and ends at a shopping center near Springdale.
All sections that I rode were paved; however, there were a couple of very short spots that required you to share side-roads with cars (i.e. no dedicated bike path, but again, these sections were very short).
Out & back this ride came out to ~20 miles total (total between Segment 1 & Segment 2).
