So I search the net and KZfaq for a video/information on how to fix the BMW E46 M3 Diff leaking oil, and could not find what I needed, I wanted to know how difficult it was to remove the shaft and flange inside the diff, and so on, but no videos where found, so here I made my own video to help others looking for this information on how to fix a leaking diff.
I don’t do DIY guides for dummy's, so I don’t list what tools and sizes and all that, you should already be able to work on your car if you do this job and understand the basics of wrenching, and have plenty of tools in your toolbox :) If you don’t let a professional or friend do it for you!
Parts you need are:
Front seal: 33121213949
Left and right seal including locking ring (you need 2 stk total): 33107510289
O-ring (you need 2 stk total): 33111214144
Really good website where I order all my BMW parts is leebmann24, its only in German language, but has pictures easy select parts, just click “Ersatzteilsuche” and select your BMW model, and from there on its clicking pictures, Easy :)
