I did this once. I worked at an international airport, on all the ground support equipment. My friend and I were screwing around one day, and we were in this empty boarding hall, all alone. So I laid down on the conveyor, and my friend ran me through. Got a beautiful x-ray of my entire body. No idea if it was harmful, but I still feel fine, many moons later.

This was funny and ridiculous 20 years ago, but today it's run of the mill to get full body scan at the airport.

Zelnick sued Funt and the show and won the case, but when Funt appealed, the matter was settled out of court. The Mojave County Airport Authority settled during the trial and paid Zelnick $95,000. PAX TV also gave him $7,500 out of court.* *The incident occurred three months prior to September 11, 2001.*

It was a prank at an airport (I don't think it was this one) that got the show cancelled. Somebody sued them for millions of dollars. Don't know if they won but the show did go off the air because of it. It was pretty big news at the time.

For those of you who believe Peter Funt died in 1993, you are mistaken. According to his biography at the Candid Camera web site, "Peter resides in Central California with his wife, Amy, and two children, Stephanie and Danny." It was his father (Allan) who suffered a severe stroke in 1993 and died in 1999.

I always have trouble at the airport, because I have a lot of metal holding my spine together. I get an upright X-ray, in a glass cage. The rest of the family always has to wait for me to get it done. I have a card from my doctor that explains my condition, but TSA. doesn't care about it.

There was a CC abt a guy who claimed to suffer tremendous injury to his leg doing this scene when in truth it as just a small bump on his leg. Tht guy screamed and cried in the airport, making a scene and was reported by a major daily, i think it as the NY Post, who exaggerated the guy's allegations mentioning tht,,'blood was everyhere..'. There as no blood and the source of course was tht guy. Tht guy sued and eventually Allen/studio settled for a big sum of Money. Who was tht guy ? His blood ancestors are now in the News bombing adult and children civilians in the Middle East territory they forcibly occupied..

Back than this was a joke..now it's a reality..but it's not funny anymore..
