The long weekend threw things out of whack and so the uploads have been a bit thin lately. The mail still works though and both Raceworks and Mace Engineering have sent some stuff across.. along with something from one of our viewers.

As someone who’s actually played with a hot l67. No m90 L67 is going to hang with a 400rwkw Barra. It’s just not even comparable

Hey just wanted to give you a heads up about rollmaster double row timing gears. Don't use them! I had a VX l67 with all the bits from mace w2a high ratio rockers cam 10psi kit everything other than the gears was awesome The crank gear snapped in half and bent three valves. I replaced the timing set with a cloyes hd set and the valves and it ran great after that the engine was dyno'd at 176rwkw and had the balance shaft delete done also. again beware of Rollmaster timing gears. I have pics if you'd like to see them.

I have a shiny object problem too. I’ve a heap of 1/2 to 3/4 finished projects going and seriously if I just stayed on one thing each day I’d have everything completed, but where’s the fun in that? It’s not like we can go out and enjoy them atm.....yes yes, even if we could I’d still have a shed full of nothing finished 😂

oh boi, staying M90.... going to get destroyed. And before everyone jumps on my case.. I own a Turbo Ecotec and a L67 M90......I know first hand... don't waste your time with a charger

Thats what an L67 build is, thats what they said they were building from the start, its good theyre sticking to the M90, however the Yella Terra whipple would be better like Astro 6 has but at least its still an L67 Build. Doing a supercharged build, then turboing it later is a great idea, these guys are catering to both routes

Air to air inter coolers on a V mounted supercharger sounds like a really dumb idea except that you could use it to plumb in a turbo too.

I just put in my first order from the crew at MACE just this past friday - Only very basic bits so far, stuff that can be done alongside a 'standard service' (coils and plugs, and a new oil filter, all for the basic NA Ecotech). But hey, gotta spend all this 'stimulus money' on something! Actually, question: On a relatively mild, 'daily driver', NA, Ecotech build (stage 1 cam set up at most), would upgrading the fuels systems be something I should seriously look at? ~JD

Hi Scotty, do you know if the ZF trans in the falcons are any good for handling more power? Im doing an XB falcon build with a green top, turbo combo. I got the trans and motor together some years back for next to nothing. I want to keep it budget as much as possible.

Depends on the power level but if its a turbo ZF box it should be good for 400-500rwhp
