I love what he said! I exercise 4 to 5 days a week and I am presently, at 75 years of age, in excellent health. I am extremely grateful that the only surgery I have had is when I had my tonsils extracted at 12 years old. For me the most important part of my day is daily meditation! I pray daily, read scripture and meditate! This allows me to sleep better and look forward to the after life! I have little fear and anxiety realizing my gift of life here and realizing death is just a change of address! Faith is a gift and I am so VERY GRATEFUL that I learned at a very young age what is MOST IMPORTANT!

Please keep in mind that while Dr. Attia emphasizes how important exercises is, the final Chapter 17 states that a person's Emotional Health, i.e. your relationships & connections, trumps EVERYTHING else. And he states at the beginning of this interview that our state of Emotional Health doesn't decline with age. Note: Socializing is not the same as truly connecting. How many people feel alone in a room full of people, even family?

I feel the only food that is expensive is junk food (processed junk) and meat. One can lower their grocery bill by cutting out processed junk and eating less meat. Planet fitness is $10 a month. Not sure how anyone can get by working 3 days a week unless they are working at least 12 hours per day.

Exercise is important but if you don’t eat properly and get enough sleep to recover and repair the muscles than exercise isn’t going to save your life. I would put nutrition number 1, and exercise and sleep number 2.

This will sound like a troll but I have quit smoking 20 years ago, and haven't drank in over 13 years...I have exercized and was in the military for 20 years...I have done low card for over 5 years...and got stage 4 cancer at age 57...My mother got cancer at age 57 years old...We are trapped within our DNA, period!

I agree. sister died of rectal cancer at age 49 in 2021. mother died of colon cancer age 69. paternal grandfather died of liver cancer age 77. maternal grandfather died of stomach cancer age 63. father died of kidney failure from diabetes with liver cancer. I'm 46 and had right lung tumor removed at age 33. I'm retiring at 54.5 with IRS rule of 55 and taking SS at age 62 if I live long enough. I don't drink alcohol at all and never smoked a day in my life. People who boldly say they will live to 95 are ignorant. Keep the fight going man! Believe me, life is hard, and fools say it is easy because they have money. Our only hope in this world is Lord Jesus, repent of all your sins, and believe in him and be accepted into the kingdom of heaven! I pray you will with a sincere heart. God Bless friend
