I think there are now six Sharknado movies, I think. It's getting ridiculous, because latter films now involved time-travel and the destruction of the entire universe or something.

Hey! Lifelong native New Yorker here! Two things: - While it's true that a whole mess of guns are illegal here, it's nowhere near as simple as 'rifles bad, handguns good'. A large part of what factors in on what you can and can't have falls to caliber, magazine size, and concealability. So handguns are *really * hard to get a licence for (as well as a carry permit) unless you're a cop or own & work in a business that's likely to be robbed at gunpoint (such as a diamond dealers). - New York City doesn't really have much of a flooding problem, its just that Hurricane Sandy hit a lot harder and where it wasn't really expected to, thus the massive damage and outages many suffered. And some things (such as our subway system) are just generally fucked when the weather turns a bit, so they were doomed to fail utterly.

7:34 You need to review Jaws 4.

It felt more like a film from the "Scary Movie," franchise and not of Sharknado. I truly believe in order for a bad movie to work, it has to come from a place of being genuine. Otherwise if you're trying too hard to be bad, then you're thinking too hard about it being bad, and will look too much like a bad spoof film. I believe you have to go into making a film assuming it will be good, and never expect it to fail in order to be a success.

The Asylum. Absolute brilliance! The Sharknado series? All must sees! Their cast lists are flat out...amazing! They truly need to do one called (what are they up to, by the way? 6? 7?)... But "Sharknado 8: The Black Balled" should have EVERY single Cosby, McGowan, Bonsall, Tonya Harding, Jeffeey Jones, OJ Simpson, Tom Sizemore, Pauly Shore, Tom Green, etc...in it. Honestly...who wouldn't watch that cast?

C'mon man, Sharknado is a damn parody. Giving the franchise grief for blatant silliness and idiocy is like criticising Airplane! for unrealistic dialogue. Smeghead? Please, never see 'Attack of the Killer Tomatoes.'* Your head may explode. *This one will always remain close to my heart, as it's the only interesting thing to ever come out of my hometown of San Diego. Nothing -- NOTHING -- good will ever emerge from America's Swinest City.

Sharknado 3 might have its share of problems, at least film quality wise. Not that the others are exception. But given that so much of the crew for this movie went on strike because Asylum creates their crews like crap, some things might suffer. Then again, it could accidentally be so bad its good times 100.

4:47 - i see you're being fairly liberal with the definition of "celebrity". I'm of the mind that you can't intentionally make a "so bad it's good" film. If it's intentional, then it's a genre spoof or, dare I say? a comedy. But "so bad it's good" has to be sincere in their efforts, but catastrophic in their results- like any given Uwe Boll film. I didn't like the first Sharknado, but I do give credit to Ian Ziering for playing his role stone cold serious when you know he understands it's crap. I actually respect the guy and I hope his career picks up. And I also need to credit the writer/director for the clever Airplane! reference. They could have gone with an overly-obvious "surely you can't be serious", but they downplayed it with the chicken/fish joke, and I respect that.
