In high school my bf at the time gave me an ultimatum disguised as a breakup speech. He was shocked when I agreed we should break up 😂
@SoManyRandomRamblings
@SoManyRandomRamblings 9 ай бұрын
I know from my point of view, an ultimatum is a break up speech....because regardless of what I actually want....I will end things if given an ultimatum. Usually after selecting the option they didn't want first. Lol
@melonpeach9723

@@SoManyRandomRamblingsI think it really depends on why they’re giving an ultimatum. They could be upset with how the relationship is going.

@@melonpeach9723mmhmm yes they could be upset about how the relationship is going. Which is why discussing it openly like mature people would be the best option for everyone. Not discussing it, or discussing it by first issuing an ultimatum, is like a breakup with extra steps.
@kfkkfk7995
@kfkkfk7995 9 ай бұрын
@@yuordreamsfirst issuing an ultimatum is usually really radical (not always) but like...enough to break up? And a lot of times ultimatums are given after having discussed things before. Sometimes people have to issue ultimatums

i hate how toxicity is normalized today. my last relationship was very toxic, i came away with a lot of unhealthy views and traits that i had to heal from. being cheated on, accused of cheating, spoken to like trash…really wouldn’t wish that on anybody, especially from a person who is supposed to love you. being toxic isn’t some cute or quirky thing and definitely not something to be proud of
@catsncrows
@catsncrows 9 ай бұрын
Nah, it isn't new, when I was growing up there was Elizabeth Taylor and Richard Burton and that was sooo romantic if you can call a dumpster fire relationship that. Granted that's Hollywood but my sister is 12 years older than me and she justified throwing plates and being unhinged at her husband as "he likes spirited women". My mother bragged about dating a writer and throwing his typewriter off a cliff and she was born in 1923. The only thing that has changed is we've developed a vocabulary to identify the toxicity

i understand hiding behind a keyboard/phone and the audacity that comes along with anonymity, but it truly baffles me that people are willing to put their faces with opinions such as these. i could never. even if it’s fake, it’s still them in the video saying it. no one could pay me enough to do that.

a lot of these people seem to either want the option to be physically victimized/take control, or have attachment issues theyre trying to convince themselves are hot or make them powerful. The first girl definitely does feel like a personality disorder? Not to armchair diagnose but I've found a lot of people with PDs will overcompensate by "owning" it as a cute personality trait, like being self aware is enough.... Everyone here needs therapy (and makes me glad I'm not dating right now)

I just wanna know how thwir childhoods were. Its screaming childhood trauma 🤔 my sister is like this tho. We had a shit childhood, grew up poor, neglected and violence etc...but my sister admitted that she liked to fight her boyfriends and was addicted to it. Often causing fights on purpose. Now shes in a predicament and theres a baby involved and custody battles. Shes also has victim mentality like a mofo. It's so frustrating. I had to go no contact. Yall get therapy. Living for the toxic chaos is not a way to live. Yall just pushing people away.

She’s probably Bipolar, my sister’s the same. Childhoods are a reason, not an excuse 🤷🏻‍♀️ call CPS often so that there’s a case on file & it’s easier to get the child removed when the time comes, do NOT wait or falter on this.

I can’t really think of any toxic traits I have, but one incident that does come to mind is up until last summer, I was so certain that jackalopes were real that I convinced my partner and two friends that they were real too 😂 then I looked it up to see if they lived in the area we were camping at and found out they were a myth. I've known some people who were proud of their toxic traits and tendencies. They would actively bring them up and joke about them. I distanced myself from them since being toxic became more and more of a personality trait that they proudly identified with and began to purpetuate more and more. If you called them out, they would respond with, "I'm just a toxic person." As if that is an excuse and not something to work on. If the people in this video are like those people that I have known, then it's not surprising to me that they had such detailed answers. :(

Oh man, I can't stand being blocked! Well, that's not always true, like my ex blocked me on Instagram but it wasn't malicious and I understand why he did it. It's tough to see your ex on social media. For me it's when someone blocks me apparently out of the blue and I am wracking my brain for what I did. I don't like hurting people and if I accidentally hurt someone then I feel awful. Especially because I can't even apologize. Though they obviously didn't want an apology so realistically I shouldn't worry about giving them one... but I still regret hurting them even if I'm not entirely sure what I did and I feel bad that they feel bad. It's never my intention to upset someone.
