The razor blade reference comes off as random and doesn't bring anything to the plot. Like just because reference that makes you go "...okay...". Its not about characters being in a movie, that's extreme and ridiculous to jump to that. If you listen to his and other movie reviewers, you'd understand that.. It's about putting random characters that don't feed the plot and just feed runtime. Some of the best movies only have a hand full of characters, and thats for a good reason

this movie is a guilty pleasure of mine....its more like an extended epilogue rather than full blown sequel, except it gets a definitive ending with the explosion. Not much happens otherwise and the characters really do mean less here...since laurie has no connection to anyone in the hospital....with little dialogue no less.

I honestly don't mind it. One of the biggest criticisms of 2 was the fact that it made Laurie and Michael siblings and supposedly it ruined the "mysticism" of The Shape, not that I agree with that. So 2018 decided to get rid of that, so 2's continuity can't exist. I like how the series has kind of is own "choose your own timeline" thing going. 1 and 2, done. 1,2,4,5,6. 1,2,H20. 1,2,H20,HR. 1,2018.

He didn’t kill himself if you watched Halloween 4 he just had scars on he’s face there was meant to be a scene where it shows loomis blows out the hospital wall but they deleted so they just had loomis just had burned marks on his face

Larry The duck but that WAS supposed to be the death of Dr Loomis before they decided to make Halloween 4. So at the end of Halloween 2, we are technically seeing him die, as that’s what was intended at the time.

The razor blade scene made no sense but I get what they were doing there. Showing there was wickedness outside the evil force of Michael Myers. This movie was made around the time news reports came out about people putting razors in candy fruits during Halloween 🎃.

I know this is definitely not the popular opinion but I probably put Halloween II as number 4 in a series ranking. I think it’s given more love than it deserves because it’s a direct continuation of the first one. It also started the trend of Michael walking .15 miles an hour which unfortunately stuck with the series. I missed the inhuman mannerisms of Nick Castle. Again, I know most don’t agree and that’s fine.
