We seem to be living in an age of insanity. Crimes against children, born and unborn; marriage defiled and redefined; gender confusion; the looming terror of transhumanism . . . modern culture is twisting truth into lies and lies into truth. How did we get to this bizarre point in history? My guest Gary Michuta takes us step by step through history, unmasking the enemies of faith and reason in every age in his new book, "Revolt Against Reality - Fighting the Foes of Sanity and Truth- from the Serpent to the State."

Nominalism = the doctrine that universals or general ideas are mere labels/names without any corresponding reality....and that only particular objects exist...

The Trinity is refuted in a myriad of ways by John chapter 1, especially with the testimony of John the Baptist that is recorded there. John describes Jesus as “preferred before me” - more than once - to be the chosen you must have someone that chooses, in this case the Father, and a selection of choices that Jesus was chosen from. John and Jesus were of the same kind of being to make this statement of preference in relation to John himself, but John’s testimony shows Jesus was more worthy and more preferred. This confirms the idea of an eternal spirit, spirits to be chosen from by the Father for their purpose in the plan for this world that was created by God. John also testifies as important - Jesus was in “closest relationship with the Father”, to be in a relationship you are not the same substance but have a bond between two, that is the definition of a relationship between beings. This also confirms there were others but not as close in relationship, and it wasn’t a choice of self, or the communication of the idea is unnecessary in a meaningful testimony. This was said by John the Baptist and recorded as important to give to everyone seeking God because of it’s importance to clarify and set the path straight to understanding the ministry of Jesus, to deny it is to deny the testimony John the Baptist was sent for and the straight path to the gospel of Jesus Christ.

This doesn't refute the Trinity at all.

@@DouglasBeaumont A weighty response. A tad exaggerated and overconfident maybe. Here is some more supporting points to see if it clears more of this up for you. I have many other points that refute the philosophies of men that cropped up after the apostles were martyred and the ecclesiastical structure of the New Testament church changed. Councils were formed, philosophies wagered, and votes counted, that isn't how God reveals truth. The truth was there before it was obscured. The image of God and freewill with which we were created with. The Trinity basically ties an idea of God into a false package of a singular dominating spirit, no love by any coherent definition of love between a father and a son, though Jesus is the heir of God, as described in - Romans 8: 14-18. The relationship between us, Jesus, and the Father is best described in an invitation to be godly like the one described in the book of Revelation, it sums up a major principle in Revelation 3: 21 - "To him that overcometh will I grant to sit with me in my throne, even as I also overcame, and am set down with my Father in his throne." The main concept that clears this up is the doctrine of the pre-existence that the Bible alludes to. Spirits need definition, all spirits are eternal and pre-exist all physical matter and the universe. We all possess eternal spirits at different levels of progress within our bodies, that continue on when resurrected to dwell eternally with God. Spirits exist outside a physical linear timeline, eternal sprits have power over matter to organize it and bring it together into physical molecules and elements, along with sustaining a linear physical timeline, in order to create worlds like the process shown in Genesis with the Creation. Jesus created everything physical in this universe under the direction of the Father that lies within our context. The Father and the Son have created countless other physical worlds apart from this one. Christ's spirit was prepared for this before the universe began and will be credited with this Creation after. The Father and the Son are not one substance but one in closest relationship, love in the fullest sense of the word, doctrine, purpose, and character. The Trinity is defined as a singular spirit, this spirit masquerades as God and mingles with scripture to tell you your sins don't exist, you are saved so your sins don't matter, so that idea will block your progress in life and from laying up treasures in heaven from your overcoming things in the world to be like Jesus. Jesus describes Himself as the Way, the goal is to be like Him in every way. To inherit all things - Rev. 21: 7. Jesus is person-truth, a way of being and acting, the way one can behave to sustain everything good thing that is created in the universe. Part of being is to have and raise children to be like you and enjoy life, it is commanded by God, the word of God has said it is not good for man to be alone, that is why the family is so integral and important and sacred to human well-being and in the doctrine of God. The sin of Adam and Eve was they were deceived into thinking disobedience would allow them to be powerful and wise like God, but only obedience learning and growing through obedience to God can we be like Jesus. Feelings of Trinity can be identified because we want to accuse others, accuse Adam and Eve for their weakness, or accuse others for not giving us power like God's, these feelings can be overcome to make progress on real coherent truth to be more like Jesus Christ.

@@boltrooktwo you are totally dellusional, mistaking your imagination with the true God - you believe what you invent according to your taste, I believe what the Church has always taught to the world...

You don't understand the idea of the Trinity. The Trinity merely affirms that God as He said to Moses is un-contingent reality itself, (I Am Who Am). Being He that is real, Distinction within the one Substance in no way eliminates the idea of One God. The One God is His Substance. The Father is the one Source of the life of God and ultimately all that is. The Son is the express image of the Father and therefore the expression of the activity of the Father. Scripture calls the Son the Wisdom and Power of God. God pours Himself totally into the Son, and seeing the Son, Loves and affirms His Perfect Image. The Son returns this Love and this Love of Father reciprocated by the Son is so personal and real that it too is a person the Holy Spirit. One God with one Divine substance consisting of three Persons. We see an analogous relationship in Gods creation itself. A human being consists of a duality of a rational soul ( source of will, wisdom, and power), that is perfectly imaged in the body. One human person that possesses distinctions within a single substance or nature. The difference is that God possesses the Divine Nature, and therefore the distinctions within God are Personal that is to say Persons themselves.

@@allentaylor6101 Yes the Trinity is an idea, an idea generated by the minds of people tempted by the iron yoke of a spirit to obscure the image of God from humanity. It was generated in the 3rd century and then fleshed out as tradition over many more centuries but it accomplishes the same abominable thing no matter how it is explained. This along with the other creeds made after the apostle’s authority had left, chief of which was making the preexistence a heresy in the 6th century by emperor Justinian, does further work to spread the false philosophy that this world’s justice is a legal fiction, make God “completely other”, and falsify the meaning of son, heir, and father that reinforces the family from the culture of Abraham.
