That being said, when people were mad at her for supporting Johnny Depp (I took that as a signal in his favor but ok), they would tweet "I don't feel safe at Hogwarts anymore". The films are crap. The story itself is OK, they just picked child actors more or less based on looks rather than acting ability or chemistry with each other. Plus they made extremely weird and unnecessary additions to the scripts which add nothing to the films purely to add more unnecessary CGI VFX shots. For the first 3 films it wasn't a problem, but it is from the 4th film and progressively worse from them on. The adult actors do fine I might add - the problem is that most of the dialogue is the bad child actors.

I will agree that Emma Watson did show her inexperience but hey she was a kid she did well enough. @@mrdee2454 I am not incredibly far, but I can say that I am a white guy in the game. You don't actually pick a race, just a scale of dark/light you want your skin to be. And you don't actually pick a gender but do pick which gender dorm to be in. Everyone uses They/them pronouns to avoid getting specific but games have been doing that for ever. So all that saying it isn't too much in my opinion. At least not yet.

This is true, but when those AAA companies do produce a really high quality and entertaining game (i.e. Elden Ring, GoW: Ragnarok, and now Hogwarts Legacy) the praise is always well deserved

I haven't played computer games for some time, but my friends who still play are saying the game is awesome.

It is good fun - the irony is the game is pretty 'woke' anyway - Hogwarts is a school where there seem to be no actual minorities, just an even balance of all cultures and creeds. When you create your character you can be trans too.

@@robsawalker and if you notice noone ever get's called he or she at any stage of the game which doesn't really affect anything but is a fun ironic tid bit i noticed lol

Want to trigger them some more? Develop a mod that takes the trans character out of the game, and disables trans character generation. =)

@@jakewood281 that is not even remotely true. They use non-binary pronouns for some characters, everyone else is he or she :D but "they" gets thrown around some times

as a former lib/centrist who became proudly conservative in 2016, you're going to start seeing that more and more... People try to shame me for it, or act like I'm stupid or ignorant for picking a team, but I'm a conservative because I am trying to conserve the liberals ideas of the Western Left before 2015... None of my positions have radically changed. None of my core beliefs have shifted. Radical leftism is just that; radical. That would be fine if the moderate left held any sway, such to the extent they had since their inception, but they just cede all their arguments and resolutions to the worst among them out of mere cowardice. Horribly saddening to see a whole political sphere I once loved fall into darkness. I am proud of believing and projecting conservative ideals, even if they might not align with every traditionally conservative perspective. It's been really heartening to see many people form all walks of life identify as conservative and bring their own ideas to the fore. We're not all straight white men. When my friend asked me why I identify so strongly as a conservative I told him sometimes you have to pick a side if you want to have a say. You can't change the world in a democracy by not voting. Apathy is moral decrepitude.

I've always said it's the vocal minority that causes all the hate. We had a similar thing happen at my high school back in 04-05. A vocal group from our LBGT+ students caused trouble for regular students just trying to get to class. Needless to say, the blowback put them in their place by the time all was said and done. I felt bad for those who were not part of that group, sure I didn't agree with them (at the time) but as far as I was concerned, they have the right to exist and enjoy life regardless. Unfortunately, they got hit just as hard if they we 'out' about it. all because a few morons couldn't behave. It would be really nice if we could get rid of that vocal trouble making group, all they do is cause trouble for everyone else.

If they have the spoilers then they have already either played it themselves or watched a streamer who already finished it. Either way, they have either supported the game or the people who are playing it. If they had even a shred of self-awareness, they’d be hating themselves already.

What I love is nobody actually cares about storyline spoilers in an open-world game... you just go around doing whatever you want and get to the main quests when you get to them.
