Goodness! I was born/raised in "tornado alley" (by a stormchaser, even!), came through the May 1999 tornados that ripped thru OKC & area. I've seen the lumber thru the wall. The trauma of seeing the lumber thru the wall is *real*. Be kind to yourselves & to one another, & know that lots of people have you in their thoughts.

Born and raised in Oklahoma tornado 🌪 alley. These past few weeks have crazy! But finally convinced my hubby to buy me a shelter!!!🎉🎉🎉 it gets installed in July...😅

You can rent a portable shower that runs hot and cold it hook's up to your garden hose and order it to rent from the same place you order porta potties we did this in order to stay home when we had our pipes redone through our house

I agree with OP’s (and sister’s) stance on not naming the baby after the parent that didn’t risk their life to have said child. But to not have that convo at all when discussing marriage or having kids together is insane. All child rearing / family building issues should be at least touched upon 🤦🏾‍♀️
