Well, this is a beautiful synchronicity for me at this particular time in my life as a singer-songwriter/recording artist. Long story short, I have recently been recruited by Themselves to sing their music. I didn't go looking for the job, but I didn’t say “no,” either. (It should be said I had been tiptoeing into the Fairy Faith for awhile, having read all your books and much of the older source material.) So all the lovely new songs that were supposed to comprise our next album (bird-themed) have been shoved aside. Instead I’m obsessed with Gentraige, Goltraige, and Súantraige. These songs drop into my head like little musical Changelings, usually every Friday, which is my day for offering to and connecting with The Fair Folk. This is no easy or glamorous task, and it is absolutely a two-edged sword to receive this sort of inspiration. I understand why poets and singers go mad with it! Our Gentraige, Goltraige, and Súantraige album is evolving into a mix of original songs, Yeats’ fairy-related poems set to music, and some of the old ballads. I’ve just begun researching the latter, so I await your new KZfaq series with rapt anticipation! Thank you!

By the by, my duo, consisting of my husband and myself, is Neptune’s Keep. Our music can be heard on Spotify and other streaming platforms, as well as our KZfaq channel: kzfaq.info/love/t2Qvx8XXlY2ADB_EzrxTVA

I would love to hear your opinion on the little people of the Cherokee and Black Foot and Canadian First Nation. I've started reading "Fairy Craft" and look forward to reading all your books. So far you are the only person I've come across that feels genuine in your research as well as a sense of approachability and real world application. Thank you so much for the work you've put in! I also love the personal accounts from your own life, like the wild hunt on a milk run. Also I really appreciate how you are honest about the things that you don't know for fact or remain hidden and ambiguous. Also what is your opinion on Greco-Egyption magic being used, like that of Dr. Stephan ner, instead of Paganism for ritual use with the good folk?

Looking forward to hearing your thoughts regarding the ballads. I've often wanted to know. Music and story seems to be a big part of the good folks life...have you ever come across other aspects of the arts, like painting, sculpture or even making textiles?
@MorganDaimlerfairies3 жыл бұрын
Definitely. There's stories that relate the good folk to weaving for example. And we could talk a lot about the deep connection between people's conceptualization of fairies and artists' depictions of fairies across time.

@@MorganDaimlerfairies ah ok, thanks for the quick reply. Yep, I was more wondering about art or sculpture the good folk might create themselves, since music is prevelent I wondered if other art was. I wonder what they put on their walls then ;)

Hi Morgan, I have been doing some research trying to find out what I caught on my home outdoor camera. I have uploaded the video. I had someone today tell me it was a Nature Spirit/Fairy. I thought it was odd because this is the second time I have captured a winged creature. I thought the first video I recorded was a Fairy (video not uploaded yet), so much that I started researching if Fairies were real. Anyway, if you have the time if you don't mind watching the video and letting me know what you think I would really appreciate. Thank you for your time
