This is from the album "Family Style". It was the culmination of a lifetime dream of the brothers to record something together. It wasn't ready to be released before Stevie passed🙁. It is really a fun album🎸🎶‼️. You missed a lot of snippets of the boys when they were young and out playing in the yard. Rewatch sometime. Thanks for bringing this today.👋🙌🎉🎊👏🎸🎶✌️💙

Jimmie Vaughan, as a member of The Fabulous Thunderbirds, has contributed to some cool songs. Here's a list of some of their noteworthy tracks: "Tuff Enuff" - This song is perhaps one of The Fabulous Thunderbirds' most recognizable hits, known for its catchy melody and Jimmie Vaughan's bluesy guitar work. "Wrap It Up" - A classic rhythm and blues track with a blend of soulful vocals and bluesy guitar licks, showcasing Jimmie Vaughan's signature style. "Why Get Up" - An upbeat and energetic song with a great groove and Jimmie Vaughan's exceptional guitar playing. "Powerful Stuff" - A blues-rock track with a gritty edge and memorable guitar riffs by Jimmie Vaughan. "Look at That, Look at That" - This song features Jimmie Vaughan's bluesy guitar work and harmonica, creating a lively and infectious rhythm. "Rock This Place" - A rollicking rock and blues tune with Jimmie Vaughan's guitar skills taking center stage. "Can't Stop Rockin'" - This collaboration with B.B. King combines the talents of two legendary guitarists and results in a captivating blues track. "My Babe" - A cover of the classic Little Walter song, featuring Jimmie Vaughan's electrifying guitar solos. "Love in Common" - A bluesy ballad that showcases the band's versatility and Jimmie Vaughan's emotive guitar playing. "Too Many Ties That Bind" - A blues-rock track with a soulful edge, highlighting Jimmie Vaughan's guitar prowess. These songs represent a mix of blues, rock, and R&B, and they demonstrate Jimmie Vaughan's exceptional guitar skills and The Fabulous Thunderbirds' ability to create a unique and captivating sound

I'm so glad you guys found each other and I found you. a person with a good soul is a strong thing, two together are unstoppable. Step back and look at what you two beautiful people have done. How many people are out there loving each other and making other people smile because of you. Great tune and video showcasing the two as they were all through life and together again. This was released, if I'm not mistaken, just after Stevie was taken too soon in a helicopter crash at Alpine Valley. I was able to see Stevie Ray a couple of times when he came through Chicago in '87 and '88. I had tickets to that concert with Stevie, Clapton, Buddy Guy, Robert Cray, Jeff Healy and others. Jimmy may have been there too. I passed on that show because I was sure I'd catch him on his next tour. I was absolutely devastated that next morning. I think I cried for two straight days. It still hits me right in the gut when I see this.

I haven't heard this song or seen this video in years. It takes me back and its message still resonates. I've seen Jimmy with the Fabulous Thunderbirds several times. He's a great guitar player. Sadly, the day Stevie Ray died, my roommate went to his concert at Alpine Valley here in Wisconsin mere hours before the crash that took his life. My roommate woke up raving about how good the concert was unaware that Stevie Ray had died. I shared the news with my roommate. He freaked out and told me he basically had a front row seat and was only a few feet from Stevie Ray. The highs and lows my roommate felt that day were pretty intense.

One of my favorite stories about them is Stevie told that he wanted to play Jimmy’s guitar and Jimmy would tell him not to touch it but as soon as Jimmy would leave the house Stevie would grab jimmy guitar and start playing it and another one was where Jimmy was trying to teach Stevie some cords but Stevie had a hard time catching on Jimmy told him if o have to show You one more I am going to kick your butt and the next thing you know they was scuffling

Jimmy still plays gigs today. He rarely plays his hits from the days of his band The Fabulous Thunderbirds. It's called Brothers.

This was recorded but was only released after SRV died in a helicopter crash. Stevie Ray in on lead vocals, Jimmy did the speaking part at the beginning, but the video was only pieced together with clips from the studio, and older footage including some of the brothers when they were kids. The album was great, not what people expected from two blues guitar players but this is what they wanted to represent as brothers.

The video has segments of home movies of older brother Jimmy and Stevie when they were little. Never appreciated Stevie Ray until after his death; never heard him until your channel; didn’t like him at first, but when I heard him play after he became clean and sober, I became a fan. So tragic that his life was cut short soon after. As others have commented, older bro Jimmy was lead guitar for The Fabulous Thunderbirds. Check out “Tuff Enough”.
