Woe. Wrecking Crew for NES was a game my cousin had and I played so much and LOVED it as a kid but could never figure out what it was called as an adult. I recognized the music instantly and when Daemon mentioned the name I was like, no... can it be! Looked it up and then immediately bought it online mid episode. lol

What was the process behind 'we have a set', then 'no more video for the podcast', but now you guys have a brand new set? It looks amazing! just surprised it happened considering yall were scrapping the video a few months ago

You can buy replacement kickstands for $5 from Nintendo Store. Or just get a Hori plastic kickstand that stores a spare microSD.

It’s for me an adult since I bought my kids a switch which I play more then them but I leave it at home for them but now I can buy a switch lite for myself save 100 bucks plus I play mostly handheld anyway

Being a Megadrive kid in the UK meant that I played few Nintendo games. When I discovered “ways” of playing SNES games as an adult I absolutely fell in love with them. On the other hand, trying to revisit some beloved Sega games was tough. Sonic is brilliant as a child, but the speed mechanic makes the game more a memory test than skill compared to Super Mario World (although the nostalgia was strong!) First party SNES games always seem a little more fleshed out.

Finally a real studio!

New setup looks amazing! Some audio issues but others have mentioned it. When Sam is there, I like to think of Scoop as the 'Dad's podcast' but I love Tina's contribution to the show too. Would be cool to see her on more shows.

My switch has become my exclusive multiplayer system.

Yes, LaPucelle Tactics was by the Disgaea team, it was their first SRPG. But it was on the PlayStation 2. I loved that game, and I love all that team's SRPGs.

The lack of Xbox knowledge was highlighted here especially with Justin lol. Fusion Frenzy had a sequel Crimson Skies on Xbox was a sequel Conker was OG Xbox and Alpha Protocol was a 360 game. Still love y’all tho :D

Golf Story is such a great game on Switch.

You should play Jade Empire. It's really good. The graphics look bad these days though. I wish they would do a remaster of it on modern consoles. How about making a new show called "Scoop Gems" And Daemon, Justin, Sam, and Tina can play 4 player games. They rotate each week which one gets to choose the game. It can be a modern game or an old one, it doesn't matter.

Jade Empire's one of my top 5 favorite games ever, would love a sequel.

My advice for breaking up the awkwardness during the sound bites is that you all rock out HARD

Been a fan of game scoop since the "set" was a office room with one long ass desk lol

My SO and I have very different play styles so finding a good co op fit is tough but we had a fun time with Hyrule Warriors recently. It's simple combat and hard to screw up missions on normal difficulty made for a good time.

Just got a switch lite and I love it ! I love the d pad , I think resolution is better on smaller screen and the weight feels great . Plus I always play handheld but I do have a master switch anyway cause I have kids so now all parties are happy 😊

If you want a stand for the Switch Lite, my recommendation would be the Wii U GamePad stand. I've been using it for my phone for a long time. For me, the Switch Lite is almost perfect. I would have liked them to keep rumble in it, but I can live without that. The main draws for me when it comes to the Switch Lite are the much lower price point, a sturdy-looking design, and improved portability. Also, games in portable mode will look better on the Lite than on the regular Switch just from its higher pixel density.

Scoop! 3D World did co-op play a lot better then New Mario U.... My Wife and I didn't fight so much in 3D world as much as New Mario U.

More than kids I actually thought the Switch Lite would do especially well in Japan! They love their handhelds there and with the release of Pokémon as well as all the other RPGs in the system it might be a better option for people not interested in playing docked.

Scoop! I play mainly dock mode, but because my wife and kid takes it over (Mainly for her games and his Hulu/KZfaq videos) I play on buying it for them and they can share it. In away its for kids, its for people like me whose in need of another Switch but don't want to drop $300 (especially when my wife mainly plays the Switch in handheld), and its for the 3DS/2DS owners who want to jump on the Switch bandwagon.

I beat Ninja Gaiden 1 & 2 when I am Twelve and beat Ninja Gaiden 3 when I am Thirteen and I am very proud of it.

Reading on Reddit and such sites I'm getting that majority (including myself) hoping for a SNES app.... I am enjoying the NES App maybe like once a week but that's it... I'm reading people are playing the new added games on NES app at about 5 minutes or less and only when on the day they got added, rearrange the games in the app and never come back til next month.

Damon, if you want to play Jade Empire, it's backwards compatible on xbox one. When I played it in 2005 it was Amazing, but I haven't played it since I bought it digitally as a backwards compatible game, so I don't know how well it holds up.

Jade Empire is definitely a repeat. I’m pretty sure it was fairly recent too.. and may have been on once before that

I've put in around 200 hours on my SNES Classic Mini so far, and it stays hooked up to my TV. My NES Classic Mini was hooked up once, but SNES has far better games, in my opinion.

It's really Nintendo fans who don't know any better, because they often literally don't know and haven't played any Genesis games. Except maybe Sonic and Aladdin, which are the two games they are able to name, but that's as far as the limited "knowledge" goes. Genesis fans on the other hand tend to be more open-minded and knowledgeable. Genesis fans know their SNES and NES games and even TG-16, Amiga and Neo Geo games along with all the great Genesis games.
