Got R32/TT Control Arms & Spindles For My VR6 Turbo

Been wanting to do this for a long while...found a complete set of R32/TT spindles and control arms for the MK4. Tearing them down and getting them ready for powder-coat later this season. Can't wait to see how they change the handling, but I already know from older vortex posts that it will transform the car.

Thanks man! It's been a little dead in there, but trying to breathe some new life into the forums. I can't tell you for sure yet but i'm willing to bet it would be well worth it. I will definitely report back when i get them on.

what about motor mount extensions? could lifting the engine help to correct geometry?

Not sure it would correct any geometry. If anything it would just correct for axle angle to remedy any potential bind while lowered...

can you use your oem control arms and ball joitns with those spindles?

I believe so. The FWD cars have the sway bar link attachments on the control arm while the AWD cars attach to the strut, so you’ll just have that extra open hole on the arm, but otherwise I don’t think there are any geometry differences in the arms themselves. I know for a fact the bushings are all interchangeable.
