Mate, I’m blown away. This is the third video have watched. The last one of just trains running was mind blowing. What a beautiful layout. I’m stunned. The hours you have put into this, and the creativity. The music, the filming. You are a very talented man. Thank you very very much for sharing. There’s no words other than these pathetic lame words I can find to express what my eyes have seen.

Wow, thank you once again Brian for you comment. I haven’t been able to do very much lately because of ill health of my wife but as soon as she is better then I will return once again to carry on where I left off. There are many things I need to do now as it’s been a good six months since I’ve really done anything constructive up there, hopefully it won’t be another six months! Cheers for now my friend. 👍🏻👍🏻. …………Graham

Excellent sculpting of Ruby, matches the fine detail of the cyclists, magnificent. Impressed with how quiet the mago rail system is, just shows what can be done when you do it properly and follow instructions! Good job canopy left loose, you can have it either way as the mood takes you! Stephen

I just got my Magnorail running. As you stated and i totally agree it is very quiet. I have mine going over a covered wooden bridge (Plastic) and the sound is just like in real life when one drives through one. Great job on the dog and painting of the figures.

Evening Graham, i think the canopy works both waysas in, on gives older way of pride & care in the town, off because beyond repair like many have had. A high street modern airier revamp many towns/cities have gone through and it gives up play options. Village is coming on strong and that last shot of bikes coming through was atmospheric.cheers ken

Best magna-rail bikes I've seen. Always thought that the canopy was overkill, perhaps replace it with a couple of modern bus shelters. I've watched Kathy Mallet (I think that's right) who shows some great road modelling ideas. I'm in awe of the dog. Stay safe.

Really good graham, it seems to work very smoothly. I think keeping it simple is key, the more your have on it i.e. cars the more problems you'll encounter. The two bikes having a leisurely ride looks enough for me, it's a village scene after all not a motorway or main road. Nice touch with the basket and dog, I know first hand how small and fiddly these bikes are..bloody hell the little square magnets are so strong. Great watch.

Graham I really don't know what to say, your modeling skills are beyond anything I've seen, those bikes and figures are magnificent, such attention to detail, and brilliant photography those shots of you and Hazel and ruby coming out of the garage and then disappear back in. And then the shot of you cycling down the street and disappear around the side track ,added such drama . What I can't figure out at the moment is how your going to open it up for the public to get to see the Finished result ha ha. Graham, I look forward to your updates every week usually watching on Monday morning whilst enjoying toast and a cuppa. When the cyclists came out with moving legs I nearly choked on my toast, Brilliant! As a first attempt I am scratch building my home town Brunel built station sadly removed by our lack of foresight council, I could never aspire to your detail but I gain so much inspiration from your work, and therefore taking my time with my project to get it as close as possible working from a limited amount of photographs. Stay safe stay healthy and keep your great vids coming, ps the sound of the magnorail is hardly noticeable to me, best wishes

Love all the new stuff, bicycles are amazing. Never seen that before. I agree that I'd lose the canopy at the bus stop if it covers up all that great detail. Not sure if practical, but what about just a canopy over the bus benches at bit higher? Can't tell if that would still make it possible to see the details. Thanks for sharing your narrative of the build. Always fun.

Wow Graham, what a great job you have done done with the Magnorail. I just love Ruby in Hazel's bike basket, which really looks great. I think taking off the bus station canopy does show much more detail to the building interior, but makes the actual building itself, look a bit bland. It's a hard decision to make I suppose, but maybe just swap and change when you feel like it, is what I would do. Speak to you tomorrow. Cheers for now mate....................Geoff

TRAM JUNCTION Hi Geoff and thanks mate, hope that you’re feeling better now. 👍🏻. Yes, I’m really pleased with the way the cyclists have turned out and of course little Ruby too, she came out much better than I thought she would, it only took a couple of hours to make with some Milliput clay and then paint so it was worth it for those two hours. Most of what I was going to comment has already been covered by others.😁 Brilliant idea adding Ruby, looks great. I never even considered the coach station *without* the canopy, just kinda took it for granted. I certainly see what you mean; you can see a good bit more without it. Would something similar, but much smaller, be a possibility? Enough to give a wee bit of shelter, maybe minus the overall roof? Tricky decision.😁 One thing is becoming clear though. At the "village end", the trackwork will, very much, become "part of the landscape" with the variations in ground height. The flat board with track on can look very "train set" but this is getting more "miniature landscape" with every passing week.👍👌 Cheers for now, Dougie.
@GrahamFoulston4 жыл бұрын
2H80vids Thank you Dougie, I like the view of the bus station without the canopy as it does open it up and more detail can be seen but I do like the canopy too - as you say, a difficult decision but there’s no urgency and I can jus pop it back on should I wish. You are right, I wanted some elevation from just the flat base board and raising the village up a couple of inches was a good way in a ceiling it, it also gives credence to the cutting that part of the track is - as if that part was carved out to make way for the railway. Hopefully I will be able to make that scene being convincing once I have done the Scenics. Cheers for now mate. ...........Graham
@2H80vids4 жыл бұрын
@@GrahamFoulston The more I think about the canopy; do you actually *need* to make a decision either way? If it's fairly robust, and you have somewhere to keep it, you can switch back and forth as the mood takes you. Even make a "rule" for yourself; if it's raining in the "real" world, the roof needs to be on. That way, the decision is kinda made for you and it randomises things a bit. As always - just a thought.😁

Graham, The bikes are wonderful! Another interesting scene on the way. I'm with you as far as the bus station goes. If you think you still need a canopy, maybe something lightweight like the ones over the platform steps would do, halved lengthwise. Or, similar veranda style. Be interesting to see what you decide. Regards Stephen.

Stephen Riley Hi Stephen and thank you. I don’t think to be honest there is any need for a canopy but as you say, if is to be one then a small, unobtrusive canopy would possibly look good. 👍🏻. Cheers for now mate. ............Graham

Brilliant as always Graham, BUT I do think you should stop at the pub occasionally. Ruby needs a drink.

Why aren't you both wearing cycling helmets? Only joking Graham.....this is looking fantastic....so impressed! Love the Ruby addition as well! You've got a quandary with the bus station canopy...I like the canopy but it looks a bit more "contemporary" without it if that makes sense. I don't know many bus stations that have them these days but I like the extra detail ... that's just me though. I see a few posts from followers that prefer the layout without it for reasons just as valid. Keep up the great work and looking forward to your next video. 👍

Loved the cyclists - I wonder what Mrs Foulston's opinion is? As to the canopy, I'm pretty sure that when Victoria Coach Station was first built, it did not have the canopy, which was a later addition. So that is another excuse to get rid of it, if you wish. Peter

I really do think it looks better without the canopy, Graham.
